We were 4 people, each in different rooms (it was a work trip) The staff was extremely kind and helpful. All rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. There was a kettle, coffee and tea in each room. Location was great right across the beach and a bit outside of the centre. All in all a very nice experience. I would highly recommend it.

Dolly and I am not sure about the lady from the front desk's name were both phenomenal. I should hope that succession planning is happening in the event that either of these two ladies leave. I think that the furniture could be a bit more improved, and bathroom done up a little more, but in saying this it was clean and immaculate. The staff went out of their way, when I said I did not eat pork, my needs were catered. Enjoyed the breakfast set-up and great hospitality when coming in to eat. It was pleasant, kind, friendly.

Our welcome we’re what we expected. The room was stuffy with dirty carpets and uneven floor. We could not open the bathroom blinds. When I moved the kettle to boil water, a goggo was coming out. The appliances was no in good condition and it did not really suit the room. Our room was in the noisy side of the bedroom. The accommodation was not the rating worth when we made the reservation. We would not make use of this accommodation again.

Our visit didn’t start well. We had booked an ocean view room through booking.com, unfortunately that wasn’t relayed to the owner. Within minutes I was speaking with the owner. Within 30 minutes we had a resolution that worked for both of us. Within the hour there was a knock on our door with Megan apologizing profusely and extending her hand with a bottle of wine. …absolutely not necessary. The ladies opened up the kitchen for us as we had an early tee time. The breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast are is very I voting. Due to a cycling event, most of the main roads were closed. Meghan’s significant other came and drove to the course with us following so we wouldn’t be lost. The service we received was top notch! Our room ended up being very good, not what we anticipated, but very good.

Our stay was amazing, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were really friendly and professional. The best part was that the beach was a walking distance from the guesthouse. I would highly recommend.

Candice was very friendly & so were the ladies in the kitchen. The breakfast was good & enjoyed by all. The rooms were comfortable, rather dated & there were some concerns: A tap head came off at the sink in the kitchenette, the rusks had not been replenished for us & the instant coffee looked old. The outside door could not be locked from the inside, so security was compromised. A male member of staff barged into our flat without warning to retrieve a mattress from a storeroom that was somehow next to our daughter's bedroom - for another guest - and when asked why he hadn't knocked before entering he said that he had. None of us heard a knock & no-one gave him permission to enter our flat - our daughter was lying on her bed in his full view. Some time later he did exactly the same thing. Very concerning. My stay was also ruined by the noise emanating from the neighbours large dogs that constantly barked through the night. Also, while positioned across Marine Drive from the beach, the noise from taxis & motorbikes during the night was also a problem.

Your service is good and employees are nice and always smiling. Next time I visit PE I would stay again in your Guest house. I will also recommend people to stay at your place when they are visiting Port Elizaberth.
