Rooms are not in the best state could do with a little upgrade i.e. linen, beds, appliances, proper utensils or at least advertise the property's limits....

At least a mop, to clean, coffee, tea on arrival will be nice, a clean outside will be good, Wi-fi will be a plus..Towels without stains. make sure all is in working condition and the freezer is not packed with non-usuable ice. the soap holder just hang on one screw.

Very close to the beach, only a short walk. You can hear the ocean from the room The room is very practical for a family. Kitchen is well equipped with the necessary utensils. Great restaurant on the premises.
The service was good the first day , the second we only got 2 clean towels even though we were three and the third and last day we only received one clean towel for three people. But overall a great stay.

We were very excited to stay at Pine Lodge again. On our arrival the staff was very help full and friendly. The unit was not ready for us when we arrived. The rooms were not vacuumed and the main bed was not made up, and the shower curtain in the main bathroom wasn't hang up. I reported this the following morning to reception. The lady at reception the Saturday was not friendly. We reported all the above and mentioned that the front light was out of order. The staff at maintenance addressed our concerns immediately the Saturday morning. The beds are very uncomfortable, extremely hard, so much that we couldn't sleep the first night. Despite all this, I must say that the facilities for the kids were on point. The kids enjoyed the park swimming pool etc. We will come back again because we love Pine Lodge. Please do check on the points raised, to secure your clients.

We stayed for 4 nights. The first set of rooms were really not nice, we were then moved to a family suite, which was much better.
In general the place needs a little tlc. It's beach front, but there are only a few spots where you can actually see the beach from the resort.
The staff were absolutely amazing from reception to security and cleaning.
The monkeys are an absolute nightmare. You cannot leave a door or window open without your cabin being looted by them, which makes it extremely important to have a room with a fan or A/C.

We used to love going to pine lodge, it's a nice place for a mini family getaway. There is quite a few things to keep children busy, and the scenery is nice. They have a restaurant on site Ziggys which is really nice and convenient. We were however disappointed with our cabin, it was not cleaned properly. The bedding on our beds were dirty, the cutlery and crockery were not cleaned right. I honestly don't get why they have bar fridges in the cabins, because it cannot accommodate all the food/items you take with (as this is self catering). Some of the beds are so old that it is uneven or lopsided which creates backaches. Our shower door was broken. The maintenance guy came the next day to fix it, it lasted 1 day and then broke again. Pine lodge needs to seriously upgrade with a lot as there is still a lot of old and broken items in the cabins and chalets.

We just slept for one night. This is a full holiday resort, very neat, with a pool, next to the sea, and different class chalets, rooms only or even camping. The camping spots impressed with flat paved stands and shelter from the PE winds by hedges. With two restaurants and a pub they cater for all meals at reasonable prices and we were very happy with the meals at the main restaurant There is a zip line and other adventure activities for young people. Our chalet was of good standard for the competitive price we have paid. The two single bed’s mattresses were a bit worn out and kitchen very small. The beach is beautiful but too rocky to swim in. We will be back and can recommend the resort for a holiday or camping, in my view the best in PE.

1. I was granted early check-in, which the ladies at reception say they know nothing about.
2. The room was cleaned at 15:30, and was ready at about 16:15 in the afternoon.
3. I received the key at 17:00 - by going to beg for it at reception, as the cleaning lady, after begging her not to, locked me out of the room.
4. FRIDGE WAS SWITCHED OFF, it took me a while to figure that out, as non of the food was getting cold.
5. Kids were chased out of the pool because of tags because we could only start swimming late, but the whole day other kids were in the pool tagless
6. Games room is closed for kids because of the late start
7. I booked for 6 people, but the staff only gave me 4 tags, I had to prove and argue to them my booking for the extra two
8. Two guests sleeping at the facility got charged R200 at reception for entrance with the vehicle.

Rooms are dated and monkeys problematic. No bottle water in rooms. Booked in as a corporate group, where some where charged a fob disc and tv remote holding deposit of R200 whilst others not charged. Some access fobs didnt work and as for the remote they xould have kept it given outdated box tvs with poor reception. No attention to detail. Not good.

I've always loved this resort but found myself very disappointed after our recent stay.
The DSTV was not working and we were told there was a problem with the dish but it was not solved for the duration of our stay. The weather was very bad which is why we were indoors. When trying to use the wifi as an alternative we were told you have to come to the reception and stand there if you want to use the wifi. Really? The resort advertises DSTV and WIFI.
The unit was neat and presentable but looking tired. The kitchen was lovely and looked relatively new. The bathroom is old and as a whole needs a revamp.
We were 30 minutes late when checking out and received a rude phone call from reception threatening to charge an extra night if we dont hurry up. Overall disappointing...

I have not stayed in the Chalets, but I have no doubt that it could only be great. Regarding the 'safe' - this I unfortunately don't know, but once again I am almost certain that there would be. It would be best to contact the Resort Management directly.
