Easy 45 minute drive to Addo elephant national park entrance with good drives to see plenty of elephants. Hotel is across road from sea and has walking area and restaurants. Supermarket is few minutes drive.

This was described to us as the equal second best hotel in PE. We were there for the Test Match SA v. England, and only a few of our party were able to get into the best hotel because both teams, all their support staff, families, umpires, officials and the rest had just about filled it up! I got lucky with a room on two floors, kitchenette and sitting area below with bed and bathroom upstairs; two TVs. The hotel was full and some others in our party had terrible rooms and were moved several times. The hotel overall? It's OK no more. Good view if you are on the seafront; rooms lack character; reception staff do their jobs but that's about it (no extra effort). Don't go out after dark.

If this is the second best hotel in Port Elizabeth I dread to think what the others were like. There were so many problems not only for us but other members of our group. Lack of air conditioning, taps falling apart, lack of staff. Nice location overlooking the Indian Ocean with walking possible (in daylight) along the prom.

Arrived in rain from Bloemfontein. Reception staff was very friendly and efficient. Suite we had was very spacious and had a nice balcony with a sea view. Fitted with a small kitchenette with coffee and tea facilities . Small fridge. Loved the comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom neat and clean with well cared for towels. Really enjoyed our stay. #Prokardmakesholidayshappen

Recently spent 8 nights at this modern hotel overlooking Algoa Bay and a five minute walk from a small shopping centre with quite a good selection of shops, modest eateries, a supermarket and bottle store. Within reasonable walking distance are a casino and various restaurants. Despite arriving well before check in time, our room was available at 1100h. A club suite, it comprised a bedroom section with bathroom, separate lounge and small dining area and kitchenette. The room was in a good state of decoration and repair and was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay. Whole hotel seemed in good order and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast throughout our stay was satisfactory with hot and cold buffet provided.
