My father and I stayed at Summer Blue in July and really enjoyed our stay. Being a long trip it was nice to stay somewhere that was so homely and relaxed which a standard hotel just doesn't provide. The owners Graham and Baubi were so accommodating and we appreciated the amazing breakfasts. It really is the perfect place to stay and see Port Elizabeth. The price, rooms, food and hospitality definitely won't disappoint!

I have traveled to Port Elizabeth on business on numerous occasions, each time moving from one establishment to the next. Now, however, I have found a wonderfully warm and inviting place that makes me feel at home. BTW, the breakfast fruit salad is the bomb!

My husband and I have stayed at Summer Blue every year for the last three years and cannot recommend this guest house highly enough. Not only are the rooms impeccably clean and the breakfasts delicious, but also the owners, Baubie and Graham Richards, never fail to make us feel totally at home, and go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as they possibly can. The rooms are bright and thoughtfully decorated and the grounds are beautifully kept, and very private. We always look forward to staying there - it never fails to be a truly enjoyable experience.

This trip was our 4th visit to Summer Blue and god willing will not be the last, I would recommend this guest house to all. I have been traveling to SA for the last 25 years and it rates up there with the very best. when you walk in and see how well the gardens are kept, you think nice. and it only get better from there.
