We had to change rooms after we'd unpacked on the first day due to there being no hot water in the room we booked. The second room didn't have the same DStv package or a microwave. Loved the bath in the room and breakfast was generous! So despite the loss in our booking we enjoyed our stay!

My stay at Singa lodge was average. There were a few issues that we experienced. A few lights were not working in our room. The bath plug didn't seal properly so the water would drop while trying to wash and the room divider had visible damage to it. The parking situation was unfortunate-came back and our parking spot had been taken so had to look for someone at reception. Eventually found someone and they sorted out a different parking area which was appreciated. All in all, for what I paid, I don't feel like it was good value for money

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and our stay was lovely. We enjoyed our stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It felt like we were transported into fairy-land, nestled between green pathways and a romantic secret destination. The croissants were my absolute favourite, so flully, buttery and fresh out the oven. Was a beautiful stay❤Thank you😊

After experiencing fabulous 5 star hotels from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, to say we were disappointed with Singa Lodge is an understatement. Their web page advertises a restaurant stating “after sundowners, Singa’s gourmet dinner menus can be enjoyed in the private dining room” but when we arrived we were told they didn’t have one, and we would have to go out to eat. As there was to be load shedding from 8.30 to 10.00 pm we decided to go out first and find somewhere to eat and return to get ready for our early start the next morning when we had to leave to return our hire car at the airport. When we were shown to our room we noticed how shabby it was, a big chunk was out of the bottom corner of a concrete wall, and the furniture was very tired. The lighting provided for when the electricity went off was extremely poor, and we retired to bed at 8. All other hotels we had stayed in had generators to compensate. The bed was most uncomfortable. We did complain through our travel agent about the dirty swimming pool, but Singa Lodge management stated it was painted dark as they have a Moroccan/African theme and is not a sparkling blue colour and yet photos on their web site and on Google show a blue pool. I agree with previous comments about the blinds. I definitely would not recommend this hotel and we were sorry we stayed there.

Hi there, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're truly sorry to hear that your recent stay was only worth a 1-star rating. This falls far short of the experience we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment. Your feedback prompted us to take action, and we've already updated our website to ensure that it provides the most current and accurate information for our guests. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We genuinely hope you'll reconsider staying with us in the future. A 1-star experience is not reflective of the service and standards we are known for. Your honest feedback helps us improve, and we are committed to delivering a better experience next time. Thank you once again for your feedback. Warm regards, The Singa Team

The location is perfect and the reception staff very welcoming. It was great to find out that card are parked off road in a secure garage. The room was spacious and very clean although I’m not a fan of the toilet being in the main room and not enclosed, the bath / shower is okay but I would prefer the toilet being enclosed. We had been hiking the previous couple of days and when we arrived, we were looking for a few hours rest but this was interrupted when a generator was started when load shedding kicked in. I realise a generator may be needed but to have it do close to a guests room is just not right. When asked, the staff turned off the generator straight away but I feel we should not be put in the position of having to ask. Overall though we were pleased with our stay in this very pleasant and clean place.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, each decorated uniquely. Breakfast has many options and was delicious. The staff were friendly. If you stay in room 11, look for the Meerkat who visits the garden. A cute and fun extra!

Amazing place. Photos don't do it justice. So much attention to detail. Huge and comfy room, lovely outdoor area but the real stand out were the staff. All of the staff were friendly, polite and knowledgeable and could not do enough to help and recommend things to donin the area. Super comfy and safe. Sad I only had 2 days here as could have stayed much longer. Thank you.

Dear Nina, Wow, your kind words have truly made our day! We're thrilled to hear that you found our place amazing, and we agree – photos can sometimes fall short of capturing the real magic. Attention to detail is something we take to heart, and we're delighted you noticed. Your appreciation for the room's comfort and the outdoor area is great. However, the real stars of the show are undoubtedly our staff. It's wonderful to hear that their friendliness stood out for you. They're always here to help and share their recommendations to make your stay even better. We're sorry you had only two days with us but know that you're welcome back anytime. We'd love to have you stay longer and create more wonderful memories. Thank you for choosing us! Take care and hope to see you again soon! Kind Regards, The Singa Team

Fabulous! Staff were all lovely - welcoming and helpful. The room was great / loads of space, huge bed, sofa and big bathroom area. The shower was magnificent - big space, hot and powerful. It was all very peaceful and relaxing, aided by a garden full of tropical plants Breakfast was great - continental buffet with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and pastries, and a good choice of cooked food. Close to the boardwalk and safe parking
