The location of this hotel is excellent, walking distance to Yale and in the shopping/restaurant district. The hotel exceeded expectations, spacious room, beautiful lobby, helpful staff, many amenities, and easily accessible by car.

Dear Guest, The New Haven Hotel is located about a half mile from Union Station. It would be about a 15 minute walk however we would recommend a taxi. Thank you. Kind Regards, Reservations New Haven Hotel

Yes, you park yourself and can come and go, but it's a little expensive.

If you're used to Dublin, then I would say that New Haven in and around the Yale Campus is very safe. They have so many campus police there you can tour Yale at all hours and feel safe. Visit restaurants and bars near... More
