Motel is located on the west side of Steamboat so is great location to walk around town. Close to restaurants and shopping. Check in was a breeze and owner will answer any questions you have. Rooms have microwave and fridge. Hot tub was nice after hiking all day but never used pool. Would stay there again.
This place is so great-- we come to Steamboat every summer, and just discovered this gem a few years back. The rooms are spacious, clean, super comfy beds and soft sheets, and they are even pet friendly!! The pool and hot tub are great too :) The location is perfect for grabbing breakfast at the Creekside Cafe, and it's super easy to bring your tubes and go down the river. The owner Greg is wonderful-- super helpful on ideas to do around town. The prices are super reasonable too-- a 5-star experience for sure :)
Very clean, comfortable room. Nice bath amenities. Beautiful custom embroidered bed sheets. Good location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Hot coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. There is a pool and hot tub which we didn’t use because we went to the hot springs in town. Steamboat seems to exist mainly as a ski resort, but there is nice hiking and the Yampa River runs through town. We loved the Old Town Hot Springs - beautiful, clean, modern facility. Would definitely stay here again.
This motel is in an excellent location…..walking distance to the town and river walks. We had a wonderful and spacious room on the second floor. The front desk personnel were equal to a five star hotel. No complaints during our 2 night stay w our dog. Would return
The great: Location for downtown activities. The staff all seemed very friendly. Hotel room was clean. No free breakfast (but was on-sign). However, there are really good places to eat within a short walk. Bed were comfortable. The downsides were that the futon/couch in the room was not comfortable at all. They should replace with a couple of comfortable chairs with end tables. The AC was pretty good until about 2:30am when it would not be effective and the bedroom would heat up. We were in a suite (1 bedroom) and the AC would have to cool it down. Without us in there it was good. WIFI was bad. Had to use iPhone as a hotspot. Coffee in office was good. I would probably request the free, optional coffee pot next time and bring my own coffee so I did not have to walk to office. Water pressure for shower was a little low, but we were not in a hurry. For the price, I may have looked around more since we were there 2 nights. If we had only stayed one night, it was good. Pool looked nice but did not get to use it.…
