Hotel's Favourite
We attended our daughter's wedding here and it was first class from beginning to end. The superlative service added to the magnificent location made this a magical event. It is rare to find a resort where all departments are delivering outstanding service and results at the same time. Even the Covid protocols where blended into the facilities and service in such a way as to not be intrusive, but provided a high-degree of confidence in the safety and sanitation of facilities and guest. I could go through each department and compliment them on special efforts to surpass expectations, but it would take too long to list them all. Highly recommend! We plan on coming back in February to enjoy this gem during the winter season.

This was one of three hotels my husband and I stayed at during our trip to Colorado, and it was definitely our favorite. We absolutely loved the view of the mountains both from our room and from the common areas at the resort. My husband and I enjoyed hiking at Garden of the Gods, relaxing at the infinity pool, and dining outside at the Rocks restaurant. Our room was comfortable and large. All of the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was as well. Our only complaint came from the keys we had, which had to be reprogrammed about a half a dozen times during our 4 day stay. Our hotel neighbor mentioned that he had a similar problem during a previous stay. I hope the resort can fix the key issue, as it takes away from the relaxation guests are seeking when staying there. Otherwise, I think this resort has a lot to offer visitors of all ages.

Although this resort is undergoing some construction, the inconvenience to guests is limited, and the experience of staying there outweighs everything. This is a fabulous resort, if, for no other reason, all you want is a world class view. Pike's Peak is literally right in front of the lodge, and the mountain range is spectacular and changes colors with the light of the day, and all important areas of the resort (pool, restaurant) face them. There is also easy access to the Garden of the Gods Park at the base of the hill. The resort itself has all the usual amenities, and it was nice to have a coffee shop open in the morning for a quick bite before heading out. Our accommodations were very modern, especially the bathroom, which had a huge vanity/double sink a separate tub and shower, as well as a private toilet all within one large room. We appreciated the Keurig, large screen TV and the table and chairs on our little patio. Our end of the complex also had an outdoor fireplace with chairs for evening get togethers. The restaurant/bar area spilled outside, a perfect place for dinner and sunset.

This was our second time here. You can’t beat the views and we loved our King Casita room as much this time as last. Luxury amongst nature. Not inexpensive but worth it. Will definitely be back again!
