I stayed there in August of 2017. Pretty nice stay. No complaints at all and a reasonable price. Fast forward. Jan 2019. Put next to a construction zone of the hotel next store. Woke up to jack hammer at 7:30 AM on Saturday. Hotel refunded me 50%. Um big whoop. I wanted

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey and providing valuable feedback. I would sincerely like to apologize for the lack of tranquility that you recently experienced. The construction next door has not been ideal, and has taken away from the otherwise wonderful experience that you should have enjoyed. I will be sharing your comments with the rest of the staff as they are a great learning tool. Once again thank you and have a great week!

The Inn is located just a little over a block away from the beach and Stearns Wharf so it is quiet and secluded. The rooms are clean and updated and the complimentary continental breakfast is perfect before an early morning walk on the beach or boardwalk. The staff was

We enjoyed our stay here. It is walking distance to the beach, and the room is pretty nice and clean. We actually have a suite - probably twice as big as other ones. My son was happy to have his own roll-out bed. Breakfast was pretty good - had variety of pastries, although not

Nice property over all. Location is close enough to the beach, the Stearn's Wharf, and the marina area that an easy walk is all you need. State Street and the shopping downtown is a bit more of a hike, but not bad at all. Our room was actually very nice and fairly quiet. It's a

The hotel was ok. Room was clean and had a good parking. The breakfast was just terrible. It was not the food BUT the location. In the lobby! There were 3 small tables, few seats and with 30 people at the same time, it was just chaotic! Please, Do not sell breakfast if you do

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your most recent stay. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I would sincerely like to apologize for not meeting our mutual breakfast expectations. In addition to the lobby sitting area, there are three separate seating areas around the hotel. One on the porch by the front door entrance, another in the courtyard next to the parking lot, and lastly there are several sitting areas in the pool area. Once again I apologize if this was not explained properly by the staff. I will be sharing your comments with them as they are a great learning tool, and be assured that this will not be of concern in the near future. Once again thank you and a Happy New Year!

Are small pets ( Yorkie) allowed?
Unfortunately we are not pet friendly. We only accept service animals. The Beach House Inn, just around the corner from us is a pet friendly property.

How are the beds? I prefer a softer rather than hard.
The beds are on soft comfortable side. They are not firm.

The bed was fine. Not too hard. I'm sure this is a personal preference and may be different for each person.

Are there better rates if you stay one full week? Where is the nearest fishing? Do you need a permit to fish?
It's been our experience that they will discount the rates " a little" for a weeks stay. How much, depends on the season. Our Nov rates were much better than our coming end of May - June rates. You have to ask ... 2 blocks toward the ocean there are several charter fishing boats. I've watched them bring back some nice fish. I don't know who to recommend. The guys fishing off of Sterns Wharf rarely catch anything of value.

"Rooms with king beds probably best as they tend to be larger. Room 104 an excellent choice, close to pool and spa."
"Not far from the beach and close enough one can walk about anywhere."
"Top floors are better."
"Think that they are all of the same standard."
"Avoid the rooms near the outer stairwells and elevator... late night guests and early morning guests who use the elevator."
