First time visiting Santa Barbara and had the Wayfarer recommended to me by a friend. The hotel is in the funk zone so it is close to many wineries, bars, and restaurants. It is also just a block from the train station. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The

I stayed for 2 days this past week on a business trip. The rooms were clean, cute, nicely decorated and modern. The King bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was quaint. The room is on the small side but it’s cozy. Reminded me of a NYC hotel room size wise. Nice continental

Is the hotel located on the beach? Is there a view of the beach? Thank you!
I do not think there is a beach view, but very short walk. At this moment there seems to be a lot of construction close to beach so a lot nicer, we think, to stay at the Wayfarer a couple of blocks away.
