Having been evacuated from Yosemite late in the evening the Comfort Inn in Oakhurst turned out to be our salvation. The night manager quickly found our largish family of 5 adults a suite at a very reasonable rate. Rooms were large and clean and we slept all so well. Breakfast

Stayed here while visiting Yosemite. The room was dated but the beds were comfortable. The bath towels had stains and were old and worn. A fridge and microwave in the room was handy, but the microwave made funny noises, so we turned it of and didn't use it again. Breakfast

Very clean quiet, safe location, with lots of parking. Marie at the front desk was super helpful with the booking and advice on local attractions. A great place to stay, close to Yosemite. Close to bars and restaurants.

Stayed here 2 nights to visit Yosemite & the drive in wasn't too busy. The motel is on the main road so very handy for a number of restaurants & supermarkets. The room was clean & big for motel standards with a fridge. The breakfast was ok with just enough to set you off for

We stayed in this hotel when we visited Yosemite. This hotel is about 45 minutes outside the park (in the off season, it might take longer during peak season). The rooms were clean and well taken care of. The hotel restaurant offers a really good breakfast bar for hotel guests

You mean when you arrive at the hotel? They do take your credit card in case of incidentals and the like. But, they refund that money or don't even really charge it.

I called the hotel for you. They said they can't answer any reservation questions via email and would not give me an email address. Sorry. Merry Christmas.

Dear Pixie471, we did travel this region with a rental car, because it is really a rural area. Fresno to Oakhurst is about 50 US Miles. If you intend to visit Oakhurst for Yosemite NP, it is even more recommended to have an own car (rental car), because Yosemite NP is approx. 30 miles from Oakhurst, and that's only the the entrance. Yosemite Village is another 30 mile from entrance. Plus Oakhurst / Yosemite = no public transportation. BR Cora

What is at breakfeast
I felt there were a lot of choices which I appreciated. We had scrambled eggs, sausage, boiled eggs, make your own waffle, yogurt and cereal. Was very pleased that the breakfast stock was kept up well.
