We booked a block of rooms for wedding party. Hotel’s biggest plus is its remarkable staff. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable, helpful, and just plain outstanding. Special shout outs to front desk’s Deborah, Crystal, & Amanda who made the stay so smooth for everyone. Housekeeping did their job [on request.] Breakfast restaurant staff were efficient, fast, helpful, and nice, effortlessly handling a large volume of guests. Location is a close 2nd. Walking Distance or a short drive to great central Napa restaurants and local parks [Westwood offered hilly hikes and beautiful views.] If you’re a sushi or Japanese food fan, Morimoto, which is about a mile away, is one of those rare famous restaurants that fully lives up to its reputation: Outstanding service & food with outdoor dining overlooking Napa River. Complimentary breakfast each morning was great – delicious omelets cooked to order, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh breads, fruit, coffee and variety of teas, with indoor and outdoor seating. Courtyard is a bonus- offering shady and sunny spaces to sit for breakfast or an evening glass of wine around 2 gas firepits. Suites are spacious and well-outfitted with mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, plus 2 sinks outside bathroom. Presidential suite had nice living room, and as a bonus was on front quiet side of hotel, not facing St Helena Hwy, Rte 29 which can be a little noisy if you’re a light sleeper, or if you need to sleep with open window because AC doesn’t work, see below. Property’s only downside that it desperately needs a delayed renovation: Our toilet ran noisily & randomly, faucets leaked and the AC was either full blast meat locker or ‘off’- thermostat didn’t seem to work at all. We’re looking forward to returning when the renovation is [hopefully at least started] next year.…

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is a wonderful snap shot of pure tranquility. The grounds are so beautiful! Everything we needed was on location. Restaurant, bar with great wine selections, outdoor and indoor dining, pool. Did I mention the garden areas are amazing?!?! Sean that works in the restaurant/bar area is very friendly and wonderful at making guest feel at home. We will be back to enjoy this oasis again!!

Perfect family reunion hotel. On demand movies did not work. Buffet was good but no vegan options besides oatmeal. They Have room service. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There are non E-car charging spots.

Beautiful grounds. Yes, the hotel is older and could use some updating, but the hotel and the rooms are all so clean. Every staff member we encountered were all so helpful and so friendly. Every one of them. Love that they have a nightly happy hour and daily made-to-order hot breakfast. Would totally recommend staying here and coming back here again.

We stayed 25 -27 March 2022. A nightly reception with wine that was undrinkable ... in Napa? Breakfast on paper plates with plastic knives and forks? All this for $500 a night? Hotel or refuge centre? For European travellers1, head downtown to Archer or Andaz, but please don't stay here ... its absolutely ghastly
