Dakota and Joseph were THE BEST EVER!!!! They are so sweet and accommodating. If you come here, you’d be lucky to run into them!!!! Great guys great service. 10/10 experience yall!!!! Love to see it. We love it
What a beautiful resort! They were so sweet to decorate our room for our special girls weekend and took care of everything we needed. They put our itinerary together and we had the best food and wine experiences of our lives. Dakota the bell captain was amazing and offered us exceptional service. He even went so far as to personally drive us to brunch after two of our Ubers canceled on us in a row! We also got massages in the spa and hung out in the sauna after which was all incredible.
I had an awesome experience at the resort Father’s Day weekend. I love this resort due to the large bedroom suites that come with everything needed to cook a family meal. I also love the coffee shops, mini grocery store, and deli lunch options. My favorite thing about this resort is how it has a huge courtyard for lounging and wine tasting rooms! I had an awesome experience checking in with Kay-Lee at the front desk. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating to coordinate my friends room and mine to be set up next to each other last minute! She is an awesome front desk agent!
I took my mom here for her birthday, and it was a great relaxing escape. We loved the wine tastings, Olive and Hay, the bowling alley and much more. Imani was very inviting in welcoming us and very helpful in resolving invoicing questions upon check out.
I have had several dozen massages, but the massage that I received today from Mercer was truly amazing. The massage was relaxing, and Mercer is quite knowledgeable regarding various muscle groups and pressure points. Thank you Mercer!
I was disappointed in the lack of service and amenities in the room. With the hotel being so spread out, I would have appreciated a coffee pot in my room. When my room was made up in the morning (no evening turn down service), only the towels were replaced - nothing else. At present, this is not a luxury resort - is it a staffing problem?
We have stayed at 4 and 5 star resorts and were expecting the same amenities and service, however we were disappointed. This visit was associated with a conference held at the facility however the check in and check out times did not coordinate with the conference and created Inconvenience. In addition, our shower had mold in it, the bathroom sink did not drain, and my purse was stolen from the room. I have travelled in different parts of the world and NEVER have had anything taken. Management seemed as though they could care less. No one offered assistance with bags. Sigh. For the level of resort, it was disappointing.
Traveled to California for a conference held at The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa. Less than impressed. NO ONE at the hotel - front desk/guest services - had any clue where the registration desk was set up for the almost 200 guests that were arriving for the conference. It was like we did not exist. We wandered around and guess what we found it. Then when I returned to inform the front desk that we did indeed have a registration desk and should refer our attendees there- they were non committal. I even spoke with the Manager of the Resort with little concern to correct the situation. And staff continued to deny any knowledge of the location of our events at their Resort. But the Icing on the cake was another group came in with an event and they were able to direct them to their registration. Our conference coordinator did email all the information to these folks but apparently their staff does not communicate. She had a terrible time organizing this conference at this Resort. So they are a AAA 4 diamond resort. And very pricy that includes a resort service fee. We could not get wash cloths, fresh glasses and our coffee bar replenished in the 5 days we were there. Bathroom shower had mold growing in it. Room service - food arrived cold. Conference Banquet food was adequate but overpriced. I could never recommend this resort. On check out the front desk tried to make amends but again nothing was done on the front end of the conference. I hope AAA reviews them again and downgrades their rating. There is a Hampton Inn close by- save money and get better service.…
This resort touts a big game (and a hefty price tag) for what it delivered. I got this place to blow my mom away for a special birthday girls trip, man did it disappoint! Outdated hotel, uncomfortable beds, gross in room coffee…the crush lounge was really the only amenity open when we got in and it felt like a crowded outdated cruise ship. Would have loved to just sit in the hot tub with some wine when we arrived but pools close at 10 - far too early for a resort if you ask me! The next morning we were hopeful to enjoy some of the amenities but it was too chilly to be by the pool, the crush lounge didn’t open til our check out time and many of the other amenities just weren’t open or available in the morning. Olive and Hay didn’t disappoint but that was really the only positive. If there was more to enjoy on a Sunday morning, the hotel did not do a good job of advertising it. 100% would NOT recommend this place.…
This was hands down the best resort experience I’ve ever had. Every employee we interacted with had a smile on their face and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The restaurants had amazing food options and everything we tried was fantastic. I can’t say enough about the staff and the facilities. 5 start vacation!!! Thank you Meritage Resort and Spa.
