Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.

It's our second time at Venice Inn. We got checked-In by Alfonso who helped us with early check-in and late check out later on. Great location, next to Venice beach (2 minutes walking distance) with a nice free breakfast. We'll be back!

I booked this place after a friend in L.A. recommended it. Was looking for a place next to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier to show my wife and friends girlfriend as they had never been. This location was PERFECTLY located a couple of blocks from the Boardwalk and beach. As

Although we were early, Alfonso greeted us with a smile and offered us breakfast and made every effort to give us rooms well ahead of time. Quiet rear rooms and upper floors have sea views. Tasty breakfast with disposable dishes to go

If I had paid $150-$200 I would have probably left 4-5 stars, but for $300/night I feel it was not worth it. The bed was comfortable and location was good. Otherwise everything else was mediocre (bathroom, breakfast, lobby)...

This boutique hotel is a block and a half from Venice Beach, south end. One block away are several great restaurants (The Whaler) and the classic Maui Jim surf shop. The hotel itself is dated but very comfortable. The showers had surprisingly good pressure. The continental

Dear stephenkC8390IL, It was a pleasure having you stay with us! I'm so happy to know that you enjoyed our location and the accessibility to all that Venice and Marina Del Rey have to offer. It sounds like you had a great time enjoying the dinning options and relaxing on Mother's Beach and Venice Beach; all within walking distance. Thank you for giving insight to other travelers who have yet to experience a stay in our hotel. We will be sure to follow up on that mattress, and thank you for bringing it to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have you back soon! Best regards, Maggie Oliva General Manager Inn at Venice Beach

Treat Yourself to one of Cooo Loft Suites (bedroom)
Is there AC units in the rooms and is there any parking on site?
The rooms have AC, but if you book one of the lofts, which are quite large, I'm not sure how effective the AC will be upstairs. But the loft area does have a ceiling fan. I stayed in a loft during the spring and was quite comfortable. I had a smaller room when I stayed more recently in July. That smaller room was also very comfortable during the hotter summer months. Yes, there is on site parking. And you will need it. I think it's $20 a night. You should be able to confirm the cost on their website.
