Located in a community also known as "Surf City, USA", the resort offers easy access via a pedestrian walkway to eight miles of wide beaches where waves crash and surfers reign. The magnificent Andalusian architecture, reminiscent of Spain's southern coast, and lush landscaping combine to create a sense of casual elegance and your own private seaside retreat. All rooms have private terraces, and most feature stunning views of the Pacific. Five different dining restaurants,a grocery store, a full service spa and salon and two pools and several hot tubs on the property.

This is our second time there. We love it. Rooms are big, and clean. The resort in immaculate. Right on the beach. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food is award winning. Literally, the restaurants are outstanding. The valet can get a bit busy during times. We park at the beach parking lot for $15 a day as opposed to $44 for on-site. Way more convenient and super easy access to vehicle. Resort provides towels ,chairs and umbrellas for the beach. You really don't need to bring anything. This is a pet friendly resort.

This resort is fantastic! The location is perfect for morning walks on the never ending beachfront promenade. The staff is friendly and accommodating. In light of COVID, they are under capacity, which makes the grounds much more quiet and peaceful. All employees are all wearing masks to protect the guests. There are hand sanitizing stations at every turn. The food is delicious. The pools and landscaping is beautifully adorned, and we loved the ocean view with the cool breeze coming from the sea in the evening! I cannot say enough! We will most definitely be back!

Went to Hyatt Huntington beach for a staycation and was the first time to go as a family. Really loved how convenient it was location-wise. First off, the resort has a dedicated bridge from the hotel to the beach which makes it very convenient to get to the beach. Secondly, the resort provides (free of charge) beach towels, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs. This is a great perk as people don't have to bring their own gear. There are stores to buy snacks and beach gear (swim trunks/swimsuits) that are on-site which makes everything very easy and convenient. The few things that I didn't like was the limited choice for room service. due to the pandemic, we didn't want to go to restaurants and wanted to order in. However, everything on the dinner menu was was way too expensive and not kid/family friendly. We ended up ordering through a food delivery app and saved significant amount of money. I would have preferred to order on-site but with the limited menu and pricey options, that was a no-go. The other thing I didn't like was the high cost of valet parking. I didn't realize how much it would be until it was time to check out and I saw the bill. $45 a night for valet parking seems steep to me. Lastly, we wanted to go swimming but there were a lot of people in the pool. Again due to the pandemic, we wanted to limit contact with other people so we thought of renting a cabana. However the $350 cost to rent a cabana was too steep so instead we enjoyed the beach. So overall, really loved our experience. Just need to plan out the food/meal situation as the choices are limited right now. I recommend enjoying the beach as the hotel is perfectly set up for a great time (I forgot to mention you can also book a fire pit on the beach to do bonfires and smores). Enjoy your stay!

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. My favorite aspect was the balcony. I had a partial ocean view, but it actually felt like a full view from my balcony. Super family friendly place, (altho, I didn't have children) and employees were friendly and remembered your name.
