The Beverly Hills remains one of my favorite hotels in the US with a singular sense of place and history that’s second to none—no other property in Los Angeles/Beverly Hills feels quite as special. Service is consistent, courteous, and warm and the concierge, Jess in particular, is a wonderful asset to their guest services team. Meals at the Polo Lounge and Cabana Cafe, albeit pricey, were top notch with breakfasts being a real standout. The pool attendants could not be more friendly and will happily go out of their way to ensure afternoons by the pool are relaxing and comfortable. Housekeeping is prompt and extra points are always warranted when preferences from prior stays are noted and executed in subsequent stays as was the case during this trip. Notwithstanding the 5 star review, there were unfortunately a few criticisms I would hope to see remedied upon return visits. We booked 2 Deluxe King rooms, and while both were spotlessly clean, I found that the room facing the gardens to be in far better condition than the room facing Crescent Drive. The carpeting throughout the Crescent side room was worn and appeared stained in several large spots, draperies had some clearly visible stains, and the room’s other case goods all showed a fair amount of wear and tear. That said, the bed was still supremely comfortable and the Frette towels and sheets were as luxurious as ever. The condition of the room was certainly not so bad as to negatively impact my stay, but I would definitely request something facing the gardens in the future—the garden facing rooms are larger, too! Another negative, and perhaps a casualty of covid cutbacks, were the loss of small touches previously enjoyed during earlier stays. For example, housekeeping no longer provides glass cleaning cloths when they see a pair of glasses on the nightstand or tidy up loose charging cords with branded cord ties. These simple amenities are the types of things that set luxury hotels apart from others and it’s a shame to see The Beverly Hills has opted to no longer provide them. Given that room rates remain comparable to pre-pandemic prices, I’m hoping these are just temporary losses. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful stay and the hotel provides an excellent environment to relax and escape the stresses of the pandemic with comfortable and spacious rooms, great service, and beautiful outdoor spaces. I look forward to returning soon.

We've stayed here quite a few times over the years as we love it so much. The Beverly Hill Hotel looks just like it does in the pictures. The staff are lovely & it has a very relaxed vibe throughout. Our room was beautiful, the pool is stunning. We felt one of the most special things about this hotel is the plethora of movie stars & icons who have stayed here over the years. The facilities are second to none and the restaurants/bars are all amazing. One thing we have had a problem with previously was that afternoon tea gets booked up quite far in advance, so on previous stays we were not able to get a table for the dates we wanted. But that's not a problem now as we book well in advance. It is a truly lovely hotel, we'll be back soon & throughly recommend it.

We have been to some of the most luxurious places on earth and the Beverly Hills Hotel ranks right at the top. Our second visit has clinched our commitment to return to this property over & over again in the years to come, thanks to Maria at reception and the amazing Mr. Steven Boggs, who has been more than kind, gracious & welcoming. We are having the best anniversary & birthday celebration ever. This is much more than a hotel. It's refined hospitality at its best, honed over 100 years of rarified history. Our memories will last a lifetime. The staff really make you feel welcomed. The garden is spread out over the hotel's 12 acres and is just gorgeous, with so many interesting plants. The pool is beautiful and bustling, not to mention iconic (it's as good as everyone says it is). The food venues serve delicious foods and are staffed by amazing people. Faisal at the Cabana Cafe is amazing, and we love the Fountain Cafe and the Polo Lounge, too. The rooms are as upscale as can be, with modern technology built seamlessly into the hotel's classical foundation. The bed is super comfortable. The marble bathroom is gorgeous. The blackout curtains are perfect. Our treatment at the spa was awesome. This hotel is a destination unto itself. There is really no reason to leave the grounds when you come here (except to visit the turtles and fish in the park across the street). We are so happy to be here. This hotel is iconic in every way. Thank you for making our stay a lifetime memory.

This is one of the most iconic places in Los Angeles and a must for any visitor. The food on the terrace an experience. It has 1950's glamour and you feel transported to another time. It is a pale pink palace with green stripes and palm wallpaper. The hotel is regularly updated.
