George, an owner of this new boutique hotel was a fabulous and welcoming host. The hotel has a great location just above Plakias beach with a walk to the beach and restaurants. George gave great recommendations for hikes and beaches, even helping us to learn to find beaches without wind, depending on the forecast for the day. We got a room on the second floor with a beach view. It was perfect for watching sunsets and moon rises. It had a huge terrace in back with lounge chairs. Walls (maybe bamboo) separated the terrace from the other room on that floor and also served as a windbreak. The bed was super-comfortable. Either George or his fabulous staff served a delicious breakfast on our terrace and it was warm enough in November to sit out there. When George was not at the front desk, it was staffed by a lovely young woman who also provided recommendations for her favorite places to visit in Crete and in our next destination in the Peloponnese. There were also rooms on the level below next to a nice little pool.

This hotel is INCREDIBLE! Everything was perfect and George and his team could not have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Everything about the hotel is so well thought out and stylish- the design, the aesthetic and every piece of furniture is beautiful and of the highest quality. Upon check in, George provides you with a very useful list of restaurants in the area as well as things to do and beaches around the town to visit. On Easter Sunday he provided us with traditional food and Easter snacks- what a nice touch. My wife and I literally cannot fault the hotel and hope to return in the near future.

Excellent hotel with few rooms, a quiet pool where to relax at the end of a day sightseeing. Perfect location near to the town center but in a quiet area. Room was comfortable with anything you might need and staff very friendly , definitely a good place to stay if you want to visit the southern coast of Crete

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Great value for money. Amazing staff. The rooms was very big with exit to balcony and the pool. The room has king size bed with 2 nice sofas. Great air condition and ceiling vantilator. There is espresso machine as well as kettle. There is safe in the room. The bath is big, modern and clean. The Shower is very big with strong water pressure. There is plenty of free parking close to the room. The room equipped with many electrical sockets. The hotel team is very nice, helpful with very high service attitude. Always smiling. We requested late check out. After prompt checking they said no problem. They even said we can stay longer than our request. I forgot my shirts in the hotel. They broght them specially to me free of charge to Rathimno in an hour. The location is great. Very close to the beach and the heart of Plakias village. This is hotel that I will probably visit again.

The Kymani is absolutely fabulous!!! It was breathtakingly gorgeous and luxurious, so comfortable and relaxing, as well as managed and run by SUCH friendly and hospitable people. My wife and I felt SO spoiled here on our honeymoon. We stayed for three nights and absolutely fell in love with Plakias and the Kymani. Where to begin - the staff surprised us with a bottle of complimentary greek wine and a personal note in our room to make our honeymoon extra special, their breakfast every morning was some of the best food we ate in all of Crete (no joke), their local recommendations of restaurants and beaches and activities were incredible, and they arranged several activities and excursions for us around the area (including a private boat tour!) which turned out to be a big highlight of our honeymoon and their work arranging it for us just made our time in Plakias so relaxing, vs. my wife and I having to do all the research to plan those excursions ourselves. Like I said, the amazing staff at the Kymani absolutely spoiled us. We chatted with all the staff as much as we could during our three day stay and we really felt like they were some of the most friendly and kind people we had every met. We did NOT want to leave at the end of our trip, and believe me, we'll come back here hopefully many more times! Please do yourself a favor and stay here! And not just that, but spend some time getting to know the staff, order the breakfast, take their local recommendations, be good guests, and get ready for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay than you can imagine :). We had the most amazing time at our 5 night stay. We visited here as part of our honeymoon and all the staff couldn't have been nicer. The rooms are well decorated, extremely clean and comfy. We loved spending time at the pool after a day exploring and also having some full days there. There are lots of amazing restaurants and beach bars within a 5/10 minute walk. If you ever need advice on anything then a trip to reception answers all of your questions. You definitely get to experience a bit of luxury here.

This boutique property is a rare pearl from each and every aspect! Geoeges & Stefanos rum a charming, beautiful hotel which is posh and boutiqky designed everywhere. Rooms (even the standartsz) are spacious, functional and rich in design, having a rally nice and big terrace. The hotel is proposing you tons of services, either at the higly skilled reception or through their own application which gives you their insights into everything in the area. Pool area is splendid too. Again, one can only be stunned by this beauty of a small hotel!

Gorgeous- Minimalist, mid century modern design with quality furnishings throughout as well as around the pool. Delightful breakfast delivered to our little terrace each morning-again high quality. Spacious, lovely products in the bathroom, and free parking. Also high quality technology providing menus, ability to book breakfast and evening drinks, as well as recommendations for local adventures. I would highly recommend Kymani to anyone wanting privacy and luxury in Plakias.

Spent three nights of our 10 night stay in Crete at The Kymani Lyxury Boutique in Plakias. Our suite, which was on the top floor, was finished to a very high standard. Immaculately clean. The spacious balcony, part of which was covered, had the most comfy sunbeds as well as a table and chairs. The suite had everything you could possibly need. Ideally situated, the suites were not far from the local shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Loved it! Felt so rested after our visit. Thank you!

Great place to stay, nice and very clean rooms; everything you need is provided. Housekeeping team cleans the room every day. Swimming pool is beautifull and plenty of sun loungers are available. Plakias is on walking distance with a big variety of restaurants. The Kymani team is amazing, very friendly and helpfull for all your needs. The breakfast formula is so good! This is a recommendation for all travellers visiting South Crete.
