Detailed Reviews
It has been such a pleasure to stay in a hotel where the staff team want to make sure your stay is top star! A big thank you to them! So friendly!
The hotel is perfectly situated, set back from the road on a quiet street, but so close to the restaurants and bars! 3/4 minute walk.
The hotel is so clean, so beautifully decorated and furnished - very modern but still with Greek charm!
As we are in covid times breakfast was brought to you at your chosen times in a beautiful basket and everything was brought was lovely.
All cooking equipment you need.
Hairdryer, iron, washing up liquid, T towel, shampoo gel and conditioner all provided.
This felt a very safe hotel, with masks in lobby area and plastic covered remote controllers for everything.
Very pleased to be able to recommend fab hotel - stay here you will not be disappointed!

This is, hands off, the nest hotel. In plakias. The roomsare big with have a very unique decoration, they are sparkling clean and the breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever had, full of local products and homemade food. The staff is super friendly and can help you with everything you may need and the owners are very hospitable and amazing people. We will definitely come back! ❤️

Our stay at Cyano Apartment Hotel could not have been better. Despite being close to the centre the location was very quiet. The accommodation is beautifully designed, a modern building with well appointed suites fully equipped and with great attention to detail. Our package included breakfast which was both plentiful and had great variety. The staff and owner were particularly attentive and helpful and the housekeeping team were exceptionally thorough cleaning the apartment daily with fresh linen every three days. This was our first time in Crete and we have been really delighted with our choice.

The venue itself is more appartments than a real hotel. There's a ok'ish swimming pool, in the middle of the venue facing the 30 or so flats, but its liner seems to peel off in the bottom.
We had the flat 107 which has 1 swimming pool facing balcony and 1 rear street facing balcony. The room was clean and new, equipped with most of what you need. Rather comfortable, living room separated from the room, but the bed far to soft, i woke up with back aches in the morning.
However service was extremely poor going toward openly rude, we were "told" on arrival that the room will only be cleaned every 3 days, we were there for 5 nights, which meant it would be cleaned once only during our stay ("because of covid" is not a valid reason, other hotels asked us if we would like the cleaning to take place or only every few days).
We ordered our breakfast for the next morning, to discover that orange juice for 3 persons = 25cl in a tiny bottle, 1 small industrial pastry, 1 tiny Apple, 1 already dry burek and 2 tiny breads, the cappuccinos we asked for, turned to be very tasteless black filtered coffee ("capuccino are not for free" we were instructed latter on) and the cornflakes came without milk, "because you didnt ask for any" according the only person on site a young chubby cook lady, and the orange juice for 3 was a total of 25cl served in a tiny bottle, so when I asked where is the rest, she literally shouted at me to "wait next morning, now breakfast is finished", and only them were serving freshly pressed orange juice, "other hotels only have concentrated juice"... and it went on and on, not a word of excuse, only aggression, raising her tone, a flow of lies and confrontation, that even other guests were hearing her. If the owner of the place read this, he d better take note and change his staff quickly or train them better.
So the place might be cheap, the rooms pretty, but the service and the personnal is not worth the price we paid (80euros per night).
The flats are good, without sea view, and without any service too I have to say. If you dont mind the latter, which in Greece is central to any decent venue, its a ok place where to stay if you get a room for less than 50 euros.
However any other place we stayed were far far better on service and took pride at it, not here.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Plakiss and in Cyano hotel from 6th to 13th May. Our accommodation was most comfortable, spacious 2 bed apartment, superb shower, cooking facilities etc. The apartment was serviced daily, sheets changed regularly and lively white towels replaced. Hot watrr available all the time....perfect!
Breakfast was included with a wide variety of lovely produce including many swert bites. Hot food varied in quality hoeever ( a pity because with some minor adjustments I'd give this a 5).
Staff were brilliant, always helpful, welcoming and anticipating evrry need.

Had a wonderful week staying at Cyano. All the staff are friendly and helpful.Thespina, Maria Chara and everyone else are attentive and welcoming .
Everywhere is immaculately clean. The rooms are large with good kitchen, fridge freezer and well stocked with utensils. The air conditioning is very quiet and very efficient, even when it is 36C outside! The pool is a good size for swimming and there are sun beds and a bar next to the pool. Great location for the town bars and restaurants, just a couple of minutes walk away, but far enough for it to be very quiet and peaceful .

Superbly appointed and very well run and maintained. Our suite was large and modern. The hotel is fairly modest in size, which helps to keep the atmosphere and service intimate throughout the day. The Cyano is a haven during the hot summer days.

An amazing hotel with a fantastic 'room'. It's more an appartement with living room and kitchen, upstairs bedroom with open bathroom, 2 toilets.
We did a tour around the island so we only stayed 2 nights. We regret that we had to leave.
Plakias is also a very nice town, with great restaurants, you can do some shopping and a very good diving center.

Lovely clean hotel with good decor, breakfast included - good choice and plenty of variety. Very friendly helpful staff. bed really comfortable. Nice bar area that never seemed to be used. Suggest that they do a happy hour from say 19.00-20.00, to utilise it and also to meet fellow guests where we can share nice restaurants, trips, experiences etc
