Jubilee Lodge is a 4 Star graded guest house set in a beautiful garden, offering accommodation in seven large double en-suite rooms and easy access to and from the N1 off-ramp at Beyers Naude and 14th Avenue. We are also located close to Cresta Shopping Centre, World Wear and many fine restaurants and entertainment spots in areas such as Blackheath, Northcliff, Mellville, Greenside and Linden. Conference centres such as Nasrec and the Coca Cola Dome are only 10 to 15 minutes' drive away. The Johannesburg, Randburg and Sandton CBDs are conveniently accessible via the N1 and other alternate roads. Northcliff and its surrounds is arguably Johannesburg's most attractive area, spanning koppies, wide open spaces and tree-lined avenues. The view from Northcliff Hill and Melville Koppies is a vista of treetops, attractive housing and parks, and the area boasts some of Johannesburg's most comfortable and settled suburbs with all amenities. Some of the excellent recreational areas include the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens situated next to Emmarentia Dam, which hosts well-attended open-air concerts, Melville Koppies Nature Reserve, Westdene Dam, the highly respected Delta Park and Environmental Centre, and the recently opened Kelland Bird Sanctuary, adjacent to the Randpark Golf Course.

Detailed Reviews
I loved staying at Jubilee House. Peter and Elsa were warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was well equipped and both it and the bathroom were spacious. There was plenty of cupboard space and the breakfast was delicious. Everything in the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. I can definitely recommend this B&B.

Where does one begin to express your appreciation for such superb service rendered by Peter and Elsa of Jubilee Lodge?
I had to undergo an eye operation at Visiomed Clinic and naturally driving was out of the question for me. My stay at Jubilee included being transported there and collected afterwards.
I think what made my three stays at Jubilee so memorable was the manner in which I was taken care of. It is the small things in life that counts, things that one sometimes overlook or tend to take for granted.
My last stay was in September 2016 and with the cold of winter becoming a distant memory, the burst of colour in the tranquil garden, with the abundance sound of birds chirping way happily, made thÃs stay even more memorable!
Did I mention that Jubilee serves thé best breakfast? ThÃs is for sure a home away from home setting! Thanks Peter and Elsa, I will be back early January 2017!

This is a place to be after a long business trip in Africa - it feels like a home and you are treated like a family member. The rooms are spacious and have everything a tired traveler could ask for. From the moment one arrives, the personal attention is amazing. The breakfast is cooked to order and the entire setting is making one feel comfortable.
We had dinner and the chef created a wonderful spread for us.
The garden is an oasis filled with beautiful plants - I counted close to 30 different flower types. It is just the kind of place you want to come back to after a days work.

Peter and Elsa are wonderful and the Jubilee Lodge is a perfect home away from home. Breakfast was amazing and was fresh and made to order every morning! Our accommodations included dinner most nights and Michelle is quite the chef! Each night was a theme and we couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. Our room was cleaned everyday and a piece of chocolate was left on the pillows which is always a nice touch. If we're in Joburg again, I know where we will be staying!

Peter and Elsa provide a home away from home. I have been blessed to stay in a few B&B's in the states and this one takes the cake. Their daughter is the chef and she cooks fantastic meals. The rooms are immaculate and the service is first class. This couple is the definition of hospitality and I would stay here again as my first choice in Joburg. I don't think there is a better place to stay.

Hi Mark, Thank you for the review. It was great to have you and the group stay with us. Thanks for the discussions regarding barbecue and braai. At the end of the day we all love meat cooked in the open.

I thought the area that the Lodge is in was nice and quiet. My family and I were welcomed in a friendly manner when we arrived. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great, there was a range of foods to choose from. The staff are so helpful that when I needed a safety pin to secure a loose bag, I was given a packet to keep!
Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I'll definitely stay there when I visit Johannesburg again.

We had an awesome stay at Jubilee Lodge. Peter and Elsa were great hosts considering we were a group of nine people. The rooms were spacious, the beds and bathrooms were very comfortable. The guest house was secure and the house keeping staff were very friendly.
