Jubilee Lodge is a 4 Star graded guest house set in a beautiful garden, offering accommodation in seven large double en-suite rooms and easy access to and from the N1 off-ramp at Beyers Naude and 14th Avenue. We are also located close to Cresta Shopping Centre, World Wear and many fine restaurants and entertainment spots in areas such as Blackheath, Northcliff, Mellville, Greenside and Linden. Conference centres such as Nasrec and the Coca Cola Dome are only 10 to 15 minutes' drive away. The Johannesburg, Randburg and Sandton CBDs are conveniently accessible via the N1 and other alternate roads. Northcliff and its surrounds is arguably Johannesburg's most attractive area, spanning koppies, wide open spaces and tree-lined avenues. The view from Northcliff Hill and Melville Koppies is a vista of treetops, attractive housing and parks, and the area boasts some of Johannesburg's most comfortable and settled suburbs with all amenities. Some of the excellent recreational areas include the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens situated next to Emmarentia Dam, which hosts well-attended open-air concerts, Melville Koppies Nature Reserve, Westdene Dam, the highly respected Delta Park and Environmental Centre, and the recently opened Kelland Bird Sanctuary, adjacent to the Randpark Golf Course.

Peter and Elsa provide a home away from home. I have been blessed to stay in a few B&B's in the states and this one takes the cake. Their daughter is the chef and she cooks fantastic meals. The rooms are immaculate and the service is first class. This couple is the definition of hospitality and I would stay here again as my first choice in Joburg. I don't think there is a better place to stay.

Hi Mark, Thank you for the review. It was great to have you and the group stay with us. Thanks for the discussions regarding barbecue and braai. At the end of the day we all love meat cooked in the open.

I thought the area that the Lodge is in was nice and quiet. My family and I were welcomed in a friendly manner when we arrived. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great, there was a range of foods to choose from. The staff are so helpful that when I needed a safety pin to secure a loose bag, I was given a packet to keep! Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I'll definitely stay there when I visit Johannesburg again.

We had an awesome stay at Jubilee Lodge. Peter and Elsa were great hosts considering we were a group of nine people. The rooms were spacious, the beds and bathrooms were very comfortable. The guest house was secure and the house keeping staff were very friendly.

I was looking for a place to stay in Johannesburg for my trip there. I had canceled a trip before because I couldn't find a suitable accommodation I liked. Having lived in Johannesburg in the past, my biggest concern was security. That was quickly solved when I found out about Jubilee Lodge. The room / mini apartment was fantastic and clean. Satellite TV and a rather fast WiFi Internet connection which meant I could get work done but also stream some videos. The rooms are all around a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor garden. As for breakfasts, they have them as you'd make them at home :-). Our hosts were fantastic and really made us feel at home. I am looking forward to staying there again in the coming months.

Peter and Elsa were excellent hosts, constantly checking with our group to ensure that we were comfortable with our rooms and amenities and also safe with our travel arrangements. All 5 rooms that we booked were clean, well maintained and comfortable. Food was excellent (breakfast). Security was maintained at a good standard. The cleaning service was honest - I had forgotten to remove my cellphone charger from the wall socket, and this was returned to me before we left. Peter and Elsa were able to satisfy each persons needs (being a group of 9 people) from breakfast to pillows. Well done to the JLG Team. You are awesome. You made our stay memorable.

My husband and I were attending a function in the Northcliff area and decided to book ourselves at Jubilee Lodge for the night after reading the positive reviews about the lodge. We were definitely not disappointed at all! Our room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed and we had a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Thanks Peter and Elsa, we had a lovely time at your lodge.

This place is located far away from the madding crowd. Enjoyed my stay at this place and even extended my stay. The rooms were warm despite the raging winter and the beds very comfortable. The beds have electric blankets, making them extra warm. Loved the darkness once the lights were off and the quiet since I am a light sleeper. The rooms were clean and no traces of hairs in the bathrooms. There is wifi available though weaker in other parts of the rooms. DSTv also available though with limited channels. The breakfast was also awesome.
