We work overseas and because of the pandemic we were not able to return to SA for 3 years. We wanted a nice, quiet break away from society to enjoy a weekend just being with friends and family. We got that and so much more from Inthaba Thulile. It had been recommended to us by friends and it lived up to its recommendation two fold! The chalets are exquisite and the little chocolates on your bed add that sweet little touch. Being out in the fresh air and walking along some of the hiking trails really made our weekend. It is in a beautiful location and my little girl loved being able to run around in a very safe space. The owner Jo is just the most amazing and helpful lady ever, she is always very happy to help with any needs or questions you may have from the time of booking till you leave after your visit.
We had the most wonderful and refreshing weekend and could not recommend this place more we will most certainly be back the next time we are in SA. Thank you Inthaba Thulile.

Intaba Thulile Guest Farm is a great weekend getaway with very comfortable and nicely priced self-catering accommodation. The chalets might be a bit clustered, but the place wasn't full, so it didn't bother us. We're looking forward to going back again soon!

Just few pointers, the Lapa requires to have fridge and toilets. Secured braai areas especially when it is raining and it's during loadshedding or disruption even though there's a powerful back generator.

The location is just what one needs if one wants to get away from a busy city life. The bed linen was really clean and comfortable. The pool was in an excellent condition and just what is needed to cool down. A big plus for the accommodation was the aircon. Moreover, Tracy and the team went above and beyond to drop off a pair of shoes that we left behind, which we really appreciate. Overall, we had a great experience with Intaba Thulile and will be coming back again.

We went for a family weekend away with the kids and as always JoAnne was amazing. This is the third time going to Intaba and it is always such a pleasure, from booking to checking out JoAnne makes it so seamless and her place is so homely.
If you are looking for a quite place to bond with the family and not too crowded the Intaba Thulile is your plug.

We were looking for a quiet getaway that was not too far from Johannesburg and that is exactly what we got. Very good location, nice scenic drive there and back. It was really good value for money for the accomodation having 2 bedrooms. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The farm was neat and well kept. Both rooms had fans which was a bonus and the lounge had its own aircon. We spent some good family time together because there was no tv and no wifi.

We stayed there over the long weekend of 9Aug. Was great. Good value accommodation and a super great host that sorted things out for us quickly when stupid things happen like the aircon remote batteries was dead and the oven didnt work. Great to have a bath in the units as well as super hot water. Great hikes on you doorstep. Will return again

Beautiful place, clean and serene. I do recommend pool chairs for the pool area as the chairs provided were uncomfortable for a day at the pool. The hiking trail was lovely with refreshing water along our route and beautiful animals

Intaba Thulile is a magical place. It truly is the Peaceful Mountain. Being able to walk around the farm with wild animals is very special. Especially when you see the Giraffes. Of course, the animals do make sure you keep your distance by running away, but it does not distract from the magic. Do try the walk to the top of the mountain, the views are incredible. The chalets are lovely, they have everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The owners are so welcoming and we have to say a massive thank you to Tamara and Jen who took us around the farm in their 4x4 as I am on crutches. Also a big thank you to Tracy for the great welcome. There is so much to do outside of the farm. Africa Hills Lodge is very close and offers game drives in their reserve, something I would recommend. And lastly I must mention how quiet it is, sometimes you could hear a pin drop. So it all makes for a magical and relaxing experience. Oh, and the pool was very welcome in the afternoon heat. We will definitely be back.

Very nice farm spotted some animals while hiking.The hiking path up to the top of the mou tain is clearly marked and the grass was cut to make it more clear at the starting point.The pool is very clean. Well done Intaba Thulile such a peaceful place away from city .
