Wonderful self-catering unit with stunning views of False Bay. What impressed us was the kindness of the manager of the unit (I assume, the owner) which stayed in one of the other units. Parking is a bit tight but it is understandable owing to the topography of that part of Simon's Town. It is very safe there. Will be back soon.

We stayed in the Flying Penguin for the second time and loved each moment. The hosts Lorraine and Andrew are wonderful people, they are so kind and helpful and suppported us in every possible way. We stayed in the Penthouse apartment and we loved the amazing view over the Ocean. The location is very quiet and it´s a good starting point to the Cape Peninsular. The apartment is very spacious and offers all amenities we needed during our stay. The breakfast is excellent and I recommend to book it, it´s more than generous, healthy and delicious. We loved our stay very much and the Flying Penguin will be our choice again when staying in Simon´s Town next time. Thank you Lorraine and Andrew, you are the best hosts!

Cannot ask for more in a stay. Andrew and Lorraine were wonderful hosts. They even offered to do a laundry load, which helped us survived another week in South Africa ^^ Great value for money and the kids loved the apartment. They even got to practice a bit of piano! Will definitely recommend and would love to visit again ourselves when the next opportunity arises. Until then!

I spent 3 fabulous days at the Flying Penguin and loved the crisp and calm energy in the beautiful spacious Penguin room with grass patio overlooking the ocean. Thank you to Andrew and Lorraine for making me feel so "at home". Lorraine even offered to look after my dog child so I could go for a swim. Next time I would like to book the pent house and bring some friends along. Much love Michelle

What an amazing find! The views are spectacular, the area is peaceful and the accomodation is excellent. We stayed in the penthouse apartment and what you see in the pictures advertised is what you get. Definitely a place to revisit!

Exellent place, all you need is at hand, and we had a lovely breakfast every morning. Inside or outside. Clean, safe, quiet place with seaview. A few minutes from Fisher's Beach. 20km from Cape point. Friendly, helpful host. She even left something in the fridge for us to snack on when we had to leave early the next day. I'll definitely visit again, for longer next time!
