This hotel is right in the heart of Simons Town where you can enjoy the hussle and bussle of the quayside. It has reserved parking for guests which was handy. The staff were very friendly and the room we had was lovely. It was very spacious, very clean and the bed was massive and very comfortable. We had a tv with limited English channels, a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Our room was overlooking the Quay which was lovely. We were warned about the baboons being able to open the doors but we didn't have the pleasure of them during our stay. The hotel is in a great location and it's right next to the tourist office which is run by a great guy. Very very helpful. It's also next to Frans restaurant which was lovely. The only thing that would have made our stay perfect was if we had been told about the load shedding. As new arrivals we didn't know about the power outages so we were happily watching TV and all the electric went off except some table lamps. We had no idea what was going on so decided to go to bed, only to be woken up 2 hours later by the TV coming back on...not good when you've been travelling for 22hrs. .. other than that, I'd say this is a great place to stay.

When you going away for the first time together as a couple you want perfection in everything. Our choice of accommodation did not fail. We truly enjoyed our stay, the room modern, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing. the view of the harbour was as breathtaking as the harbour itself. Waking up to the smell of the sea is so magical. The staff was really helpful and welcoming. Location was superb we literally walked everywhere we wanted to go in the high street., spoilt for choice with restaurants and shops. cannot wait to go back.

Fabulous one night stay at this hotel - wish I could have stayed longer Absolute wow factor on opening bedroom door to see a spacious room with a view of the marina beyond. Lots of lovely touches like coffee machine, walk in shower and turndown service. Nice to sit on balcony and enjoy the view with a drink. Breakfast in restaurant downstairs also really good. Only downside was the WiFi speed compared to other places we stayed

We booked one of the sea facing rooms with a balcony and it was absolutely fantastic. Amazing views of the yacht basin and mountains. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are extremely friendly. The Espresso machine in the room was an especially nice touch. We will definitely be staying here again!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights with pleasant, good sized room with opening Juliet balcony overlooking Simonstown scenic harbour, naval base in distance. Beds comfortable with shower & bathroom. Breakfast good choices. Hotel does not have its own restaurant but several good eating opportunities available within same building arrangement overlooking water or in main street opposite hotel. Reception lady most helpful and polite.

Lovely quaint and perfectly situated. We only stayed for one night but next time it will be 2 nights so that we have more time to visit the shops and walk around Simonstown. Lovely friendly staff at the hotel and the rooms were warm and spacious. We stayed in a sea view room with a balcony and it had a stunning view.

Great location in the middle of Simonstown, right next to all the restaurants and shops. Lovely hotel, large rooms with great views of the harbour. Perfectly located for visits to Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope and Boulders beach where you can swim with the penguins which is a must. You don't really need more than a couple of days in Simonstown as there's not much to do, but this is a beautiful hotel in a great location with really friendly staff.

The rooms are very large and we had a lovely balcony with great view of the harbour. The location is very central so lots of local restaurants to choose from. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. On the down side, Wi Fi is only available with an extra payment and was not secure. We were astonished at this as the room was one of the most expensive we stayed in on our trip. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Would probably have been fine if we had arrived at 7.30 when the bacon, sausage etc was freshly cooked, but by 9.00am it all tasted very stale after sitting in a heated tray for a couple of hours.
