Not the best time to write an assessment. quarantine is more of an ordeal. They tried with the food but left a lot to be desired. Not able to talk about facilities as could not use them. The MOH of Mauritius are totally useless in the way they handle Quarantine.( But that is another story.)

Keep it short and to the point. 1. Second morning at Breakfast was seated at a table with bird droppings. Complained to staff for some action shrug of the shoulders! 2. Every cushion is impregnated with bird droppings again pointed out to staff no response, 3. Second evening a mouse ran across the bar floor into the restaurant informed a member of staff and was greeted with the words “Yes we have quite a few” ! 4. The room we we’re allocated had no air conditioning in the lounge area only bedroom so sweated when we watched television very uncomfortable ! 5. No smoke or fire alarms in the bedrooms so if there was an electrical fire from TV or fridge we would have been trapped in our bedroom. Spoke to our holiday rep and he said it was unfortunate they were lacking in this area ! 6. My wife had an accident walking to use the pool due to no proper signage for step up fell and badly injured he knee.Hotel response not caring at all had to as three times for a doctor, the room we were in was on the second floor I explained to reception on retuning from hospital but no offer of room move we had to struggle up stairs with no assistance. Overall if you want to stay at a potentially dangerous hotel eat your meals with bird droppings and risk illness from vermin then go right ahead and book, but be warned.

Sealife Resort has been a memorable experience for us. The hotel, room and staff are just too good. Food was also very good and need to make a special mention about the Indian buffet by the Indian Chef Kashif last thursday was the best and above 5 star. We cannot forget the meatball kofta and butter chicken were the best we had in our life. Thank you again..will come back again for sure

We spent two fabulous weeks at Sealife. We had booked an AI package, which exceeded our expectations. The room was nice and spacious, including a huge bathroom, a terrace, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bed was comfy, we slept really well. The pool (after is was fixed) was nice, towels thick&fluffy. The food was fabulous (special thanks to Karoun) and the chefs kindly prepared a fresh fish especially for us one night when we happened to catch one during a boat trip. The staff are all extremely friendly und helpful. Animation people were really nice and acted with a perfect balance between professionalism and „buddy approach“. We enjoyed particularly Yanni‘s company very much! The manager ensured personally that we felt comfy at all times. We realised that during our stay some people complained about the food or the service; that was (in our opinion) unfair as there was nothing the hotel team could have done better. Just two negative things to consider: 1. the rooms with connecting doors to another apartment are very noise sensitive! 2. there are dangerous rocks under water- during our stay three people (including myself) sustained serious injuries (had to be sutured).
