Having your own restaurant with delicious food is a great perk. Staff is awesome and very helpful. Definitely worth the upgrade. There is a special place on the beach for the Royal club with name brand alcohol. Being a member, we love this hotel.

I’ve been to many hotels in Punta cana on my 20 day trip and this hotel is amazing. The food is perfect, in separate restaurant only for the premium level guests, there is every day different menu, different food, good quality of the food. In the main buffet restaurant there is also a separate part for the premium guests which is perfect, also it has big jacuzzi. Rooms are very close to the beach, which is awesome, there is a separate bar and place on the beach only for the premium guests, its really worth the money you pay. I paid much more for the premium level at other hotels and I didn’t get anything for the money paid. I wasn’t satisfied with the entertainment in this hotel and i think for the Bingo game they should change the rules and way of playing and they should just write the numbers on the board which is visable to everyone so the persons who dont speak Spanish can also enjoy the game and win the bingo. Bachata could last longer and they should turn the music on trough out the whole lessons so people can enjoy while learning how to dance. With the music everything is much easier. The Staff is very kind in this hotel. There is no entertainment in the night due to covid but others hotel does so that was strange to me. Everything else is perfect. We asked for one more bed in the room, they gave us with no charge so thats very nice.

We visited for a sweet 16 July 2021. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and seemed very happy. Rooms were dated but that was ok. Sheets were old so they had pilling on the too layer which was uncomfortable. The buffets were awful. Definitely get reservations at the specialty restaurants, they were a little better. By our final days we decided to eat our meals off site, it was a rough one. The sweet 16 event was very nice. The event coordinator did a great job.

My husband, our four daughters and I stayed here while visiting his parents who live near Santa Domingo. We stayed for 3 days/2 nights. Check in was easy and fairly quick. My in laws speak fluent Spanish so that definitely helped. The majority of the staff speak English so there was no problem there. We had to get two rooms to accommodate all 6 of us. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Our girls had two balconies- both facing one of the pools. They loved that! The pools were clean and spacious and very convenient to all the bar's😊 The beach is directly behind the hotel. So, no matter which room you're in the beach is only steps away. Unfortunately, if you don't make dinner reservations at one of the restaurants you're stuck with the buffet food. We're not a buffet family so it was super tough. We found hair in our food on the first day and since it's an open venue- birds frequented the buffet on foot. That was an immediate turn off. With an open venue like that, regardless of fans, flies were definitely present. There are a few shops with snacks. It fit our needs minus the food options.

My wife treated me here for my birthday, and third day in what we felt was "PARADISE', we meet Mr. Luis Arias. Mr. Arias is/was our tour guide and representative for the time share presentation. He thoroughly explained the perks of becoming a member, and that's all it took for us to say YES! Mind you that my wife is hard nose and tough when it comes to spending money, but we couldn't leave that opportunity on the table and became members. Thank you Mr. Arias and all the team member at the first club!
