As you surely know, Bávaro is all about tourism, so you can find the whole spectrum of hotel options. For sure, the big-name resorts are quite the best places when you want to stay at Bávaro just inside the facilities, and under the all-inclusive format. But there are many smaller, usually family owned hotels around the city, where you can spend the night and catch a good rest for the next day go adventuring into the "real Bávaro". For people that enjoy going to places by their own, getting to know the always-crazy environment around this place, Hotel Primaveral may be one of the best deals around. A mere handful of rooms, but cozy enough to rest uninterruped. It has breakfast and a restaurant open until late. A small pool by the restaurant is also a good idea, but not lifesaver at post. My visits usually are for business reasons, but I can easily consider Primaveral for an adventure-trip with the family. Zorina Vega was very helpful host and very diligent to have us accomodated.…
Inexpensive hotel we paid per night 37 $ with free wifi and free breakfast + free shuttle to the beach...... if you stay a few day an advice rent a car the staff is very friendly and helpful we were lucky with the waitress Sandra a real diamond she was and she is so helpful available and professional and she speaks fluently French Spanish and English the only one able to communicate with us in French cause we are French speakers. the room was very clean but a lot of things need to be fix. the bathtube was real real old and in a bad shape. a fridge in the room very very noisy specialy at night. the free shuttle to the beach ........ the official departure time is 11 but for us it was 12 (noon) every day the driver was late !!!!!! the breakfast OMG !!!!!! even it is a free breakfast we had to wait more than a hour to get a coffee lack of organization the poor waitress Sandra was alone to take the order serve etc.................... the breakfast one glass of fruit juice , eggs , two toast and a coffee if you want another coffee or toast they charge you. the good thing there is a supermarket at 5mns by walk you can find everything food alcohol etc....the area is safe and they have security guard in the hotel. I couldn't enjoy the pool because a group of person with NOISY kids was there if I can give you an advice about the shuttle to the beach go to the reception at 10.30 am and remind them you want to use the shuttle. The manager Eva seems to be rude she don't even say hi to the customer not PROFESIONAL. Thank you again to Sandra for everything thanks to you our stay was a pleasure.…
I stay here for two nights, for $90.00 with free breakfast, the front desk gentleman Ricardo was very helpful and friendly, he spoke a very good English. The bavaro beach on the motor bike is 10 minutes away. Very nice beach, plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel was okay for me, hot shower, free breakfast and the I slept very well. A grocery show, restaurants and a salon is very close to the hotel and plenty of taxi and motor bikes available to take you where you want to go. Enjoy
Hotel Primaveral is a small and cozy hotel. This is not a luxury resort but the price is good and the staff make everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Hotel is located near to a supermarket and have all the facilities you need: pool, balcony with fresh breeze, restaurant, etc! Breakfast is included as well as the daily shuttle to the beach. Room are confortable and mine was very clean. I don't know what people who wrote bad reviews here expected but personally i think this hotel give you a lot for your bucks! If you want to save on hotel without loosing any confort and also have a bit of local vibe, this place is for you!
I'm writing this review in response to a very bad review I read earlier. I stayed at this hotel many times during the years 2013-2015. I stayed sometimes alone and other times with my daughters. I stayed in three different rooms throughout the years and found all three rooms completely satisfactory. You get a clean room, hot shower, mini fridge, cleaning service every other day and sometimes everyday, if you want clean sheets and your towels changed when they clean, you can ask for that. You also get breakfast included if you wake up early enough which I never did and didn't care. You get a decent size pool, free wifi, Tv in the room, air conditioned room, and 24 hour security plus ample parking if you have a car. WHAT ELSE DO PEOPLE WANT FOR UNDER $50 per night?
Hotel wasn't too bad! In the middle of nowhere. Warning with your credit card. I was just charged for a room when I wasn't there, and l had not made any reservation or anything. I called the hotel and I was told they will look into it. The charges came two weeks apart. I was already back home.
First off I will try to be as positive as I can about my stay at this hotel as I found my stay to be a negative experience. I called the hotel the night before to schedule a pick up from the airport. Upon arrival at Punta Cana airport I called the hotel with the assistance from a taxi guy and I was told that no one called them to schedule a pick up and they don't have anyone available to pick me up from the airport. Needless to say I was frustrated and dissappointed as I was informed that this hotel provides airport pickup/shuttle service. Therefore, I had to find my own transportation to the hotel. Upon arrival at this hotel I thought it looked great from the outside as there were plenty trees and the gardening looked lovely. I spoke with the person at the front desk and the manager who said they don't offer pick up at the hotel and they would no reimburse me for the money I spent for transportation. We were then escorted to our room. The room appeared to be clean and basic from first glance. Upon entering the bathroom, the ceiling light was broken and almost falling out from the socket, the door was missing the complete handle and the door could not be closed. The shower head was also broken. The balcony door was broken and had a huge space that was open in the middle which allowed mosquitos, noise and created a safety hazard as it was open. We informed the hotel of the concerns with this room and they were able to put a handle on the bathroom door to allow it to be closed and locked and they also put a new light fixture in the bathroom. However, nothing was done about the balcony door and throughout the 8 days I spent there, I was not able to have a good night sleep. The bed room was also situated close to the staircase and the entrance to the hotel and given that the balcony door was broken and open in the middle, it was noisy and difficult to sleep. I must comment on the fridge in the room. The fridge was also a concern as every 20 minutes it would make this loud sound and interrupt your sleep. Also despite the room being cleaned every other day and some days every day, they would not change the sheets whenever they cleaned the room. This was not impressive as we could clearly see the sheets were not changed. The breakfast was decent for a 3 star hotel, however, they don't allow you to have a second serving of anything unless you pay money to have more. The three positive aspects to this hotel are its swimming pool which is decent , it's location as it's close to a supermarket and town and free wifi. I would never stay at this hotel again as this hotel is more like a 1 star hotel and needs upgrades and improvements.!!!!!!…
Apart of the Bathroom the hotel is ok for what you pay. friendly staff as long you speak spanish. We always had a good time there for some days in bavaro, close to the carwash were you can have some good nights out.
Wow for the price, 40 to 50. You can't go wrong here, it's next to a big super market. The Wifi was super fast here, I'm going to rebook this in the future. Did one night here just to check it out. The only thing you need to bring here that is a necessity is hair dryer. The AC was great and theres a cool breeze that always hits this spot. You will sleep like a baby here, listening to the wind hit the trees. The reception is way cool, felt like home here. I will deff be returning, very under rated spot. And you're talking to a guy who has been to the top all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana. This is the perfect hotel to book and do night or day passes at other more expensive resorts come high $eason! I deff recommend this hotel, take my review seriously. And if you have a chance BOOK, you can't go wrong with this place.…
I started off my trip to Punta Cana at another resort. I wasn't pleased. I booked this cute little place. its really off the track. But what a gem! its a cute little hotel. clean pool. the staff makes you feel welcome, safe. We had 2 security guards with guns all day and night, I felt safe. a short 2 min walk takes you to town, there is a grocery store (cheap items) and a cafeteria, we had coffee and donuts every morning under the sun. I truly had a great time. my room was 211, clean - one king bed - balcony air conditioning this hotel is only meant to sleep - Its perfect for me as I like to travel outside resorts and don't enjoy all inclusives. I want the real Dominican experience, which is what you get here. there is free wifi and free breakfast included(im sorry to say I didn't use as I went into town) if you have the opportunity to try this cute little place, you wont be disappointed.…
