The resort was beautiful. Had some issues with the room as the toilet stopped flushing and the phone was not working at all. However after speaking with Alexander Perez from guest services the problems were quickly resolved. He also followed up to make sure the issues were fixed which I really appreciated.! Overall had a pretty good stay thanks to Alexander making sure those issues got resolved quickly.!

Melia Punta Cana Beach Resort (adults only) was the best all-inclusive experience I’ve had. Everything from the ambiance, the service, our room, the many food options including specialty restaurants, the drinks, the pool areas and the beach. I’d like to specially thank William, who was helpful in making our experience fantastic. He made sure to book our dinner reservations and get us private golf cart transportation around the resort and when we were checking out. Due to the season the beach had seaweed at the shore but if you’re not squeamish, you’ll be okay. It was me and my husbands’ honeymoon and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Check-in was easy. The resort is huge so if you don’t like to walk in the heat, there’s a trolly that frequents back and forth about every 5 minutes, all day, everyday. COVID testing was done within 48 hours of our departure. I wish that there was a better system because it got a little busy when we went and they receptionist and the nurse seemed overwhelmed. It didn’t matter if you walked-in or made an appointment. Every night there is a themed party/event at the lobby which was so intimate and fun. If you wanted to dance, you could and if you wanted to relax and watch you could too. The bartenders in this area were awesome. They made the crowd very happy with their strong and delicious drinks. I recommend making a reservation to the specialty restaurants, even the Japanese hibachi that costs a little more. We just didn’t like the idea of buffet style for all 3 meals everyday. The Vietnamese and Italian restaurant were 5 star. I wish I could go back just for their food, no exaggeration. The buffet was good too. Safety measures were enforced at dining areas, you have to sanitize, wear a mask and wear gloves in order to access the area. The only downside is some eating areas are outside and the flies tend to navigate around the food areas. I can’t expect anything different as it’s outdoors. I didn’t mind. Lastly, if you plan to do any excursions, make sure to book through Otium. The reps are available throughout the resort and they make sure you’re in great hands. Do not spend your money with the vendors selling excursions on the beach as they are not affiliated with Melia at all. Thank you to all staff at Melia PC Beach Resort. We had a wonderfully relaxing week of „girls‘ time“ to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. Staying at the Level at Punta Cana Beach we were able to combine the numerous choices of restaurants and venues of this beautiful all inclusive wellness resort including the great YHI Spa with the privacy of a small club. Special thanks to our Butler Joel whose attention and decency were a true enhancement to our stay! And not to forget Hilario and Francisco at the Level’s Quimera restaurant who conveyed this catching sense of welcome and happiness made us feel like family.

My entire family loved our stay at Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive - Adults only! We cannot say enough great things about our stay at The Level. We had the wellness package which included daily massages. Our butler Alejandro took such great care of us, he was so attentive and met all our needs. Anything we needed or wanted, didn’t matter what time it was he would handle. I definitely recommend! Our favorite place to visit in the evenings was the quimera rooftop bar. The bartenders Jonathon Padilla, Alfonso Fernandez, and Yanelis Repose made every night so much fun! The singing and excellent mixology is unforgettable. They definitely made our trip fun and memorable. We had a wonderful dinner at Cape Nao, I highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered beef, fish, shrimp & mussels, a poke bowl, and caprese, it all was delicious. The service was incredible and very attentive. So glad we did not get stuck at another buffet dinner. We will definitely have our dinner here again before we leave! All the staff at the entire resort was so caring and nice, the service was always excellent, and we never had to leave the resort. We felt so comfortable and felt at home, we would highly recommend The Level for anyone searching for a destination in Punta Cana - we’ll definitely be back! …

First visit to the DR and first visit to a Melia chain of resorts. Booked our vacation for our 20th anniversary and opted to upgrade to THE LEVEL wellness at Melia adults only. Perfect for relaxation, rejuvenation and reconnection! This also gave us prime dining options and prime beach access with our own personal concierge Joel Perez. Joel gave us a care-free vacay by arranging our nightly dinner reservations, providing daily activity updates and suggestions and was always available to answer all of our questions and concerns. He even organized a beach dinner for our anniversary night with room decorations and bottle of champagne! Beautiful attention to detail! Thank you Joel! Rooms are spacious and clean! They provide you with a mini bar with drinks and snacks, coffee machine, room safe, iron, blow dryer. FYI bring a face cloth/shower sponge as they only provide you with shower gel that doesn’t lather without one. The way the resort is laid out I do not believe there is a room that is beachfront. Try to get a room closer to the beach as some rooms are far enough to need a cart for transportation to and from but they run frequently. Beach is clean and spacious! We never had any troubles finding loungers at the LEVEL adults only section. Special note that this time of year there is plenty of seaweed in the water if that is an issue. Not a fault of the resort as they rake the seaweed every morning and try to stay on top of it but you can’t fight mother nature. Beach vendors are relentless! There are plenty! Seems like they have selling permits so the resort staff do not do anything about them. A simple “no Gracias” and they are off but they come in droves! Pools are clean and spacious! There is a “party section” with daily activities and a relaxation section if you prefer quiet. No speakers are allowed in these areas. Soft serene music plays for relaxation. Having the LEVEL upgrade gave us access to all restaurants and bars in the entire resort. All the à la carte restaurants were phenomenal with special mention to Muoi Vietnamese and Quimera at THE LEVEL. Buffet restaurants had more standard resort fare. The LEVEL upgrade also provides you with a special building for fine dining, self service bar lounge on the 2nd floor and a full service rooftop bar for socializing. Best views on the resort! Generally staff were friendly and attentive! À la cart restaurant service was phenomenal but the Buffet restaurants were less attentive most likely because of the overwhelming number of people to attend to. Quimera restaurant had the best service and staff! I could dine there always! Some staff had troubles with English but my Spanish is very poor also! We both gave it our best and we made it work! Activities were plentiful throughout the resort. The Caribe family side had daily theater shows while the adults only lobby had more music events. Always something to see or do. Self wellness areas are scattered throughout the adults only side. Areas for yoga, meditation, hammock relaxation, bicycling. The grounds are so lush and meticulously manicured that it’s just nice to go for a walk. Overall a great stay and highly recommend! Thank you Joel and everyone!…

Best butler experience I have ever had. Yamel went out of his way to make sure everything was booked accordingly and continued to make several attempts each day to make sure everything met our expectation. I found this resort to be one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had and I travel a lot. The property was very groomed and well maintained and the check in to The Level was seamless and attentive to all my needs. I was assigned two Experience Representatives who attended to all of my needs throughout the week. Eddie and Juan made sure all was taken care of and sought me out daily to make sure things were taken care of immediately. They booked dinner reservations, took care of room accommodations, helped me book excursions, and were friends for discussions about our mutual families. The food at each one of the various theme restaurants was fantastic and the service was excellent. Transportation around the resort was provided via golf carts driven by staff members and they were always available within a few minutes. The entertainment was very good each evening in the main lobby and there was a variety of types of entertainment to keep it interesting. The wellness aspect was fantastic, with abundant fitness and holistic wellness activities to keep things interesting. As to diet, I found there was a plentiful variety of plant based and Vegan options to keep it interesting. I used the gym daily and found the staff were actually Certified Personal Trainers who were eager to help and give you one on one training sessions which were included with the resort, no extra fee.
