Let me begin by saying that we have stayed at Krabi Home Resort many times over the past few years and normally have really enjoyed our time there. My 1 star rating is to get your attention and to publicly call out the lies and dishonesty that seem to have started at Krabi Home since the previous manager Kompit left. The last time we went, we were told by the new manager (Moose) that my credit card did not go through, despite me showing him a receipt of the evidence that I was charged. He then asked my wife to pay with her credit card (which she did) and he would refund my credit card within two weeks. Two weeks turned into 1 month. Then, 1 month turned into 3 months. Now, 3 months have turned into 5 months and I still do not have my refund. There were always promises that my money would come the next month, the next month, etc. But, that has never proven to be true. There is always some sort of excuse as to why I wasn't refunded. I'm done with their excuses. The public needs to know about this. Do not trust this place! I'm trying to contact the owner of the hotel, because the manager of KHR is not helping. I've also filed a formal complaint against Krabi Home Resort with Agoda.

We absolutely loved this place and would return in a heartbeat! The spacious and well equipped rooms are excellent and the beachside location stunning with the views of the islands and sunsets. The food at Mama Kitchen is great - so good that we ate there every day/evening for 6 days - would recommend the Calamari, the Chicken in coconut milk soup with wonderful flavours, the chicken with cashew nuts and the coconut ice cream! As for the staff, they could not have been more charming, helpful and friendly - and so hard working all day with their different tasks around the hotel. Particular mention of Don who looked after us so well. (It would be nice if the staff had name badges so that we could greet them by name). Tub Kaek Beach was extra quiet due to the fewer tourists because of the coronavirus fears, but that made it even better from our point of view! Certainly not a place for nightlife even in “normal” times, but that suited us fine - we left for Koh Lanta very relaxed and chilled.

What a find! After looking at properties in Ao Nang we were very disappointed. Took a short drive up,the coast and found this place. Quiet and unassuming, we asked to look at a room, and found perfection! Absolute beachfront. Spacious and immaculate. Fantastic staff. The food in the restaurant second to none. Amazing service. Sad to only be staying 5 nights. Will be back for a longer stay.a

We have been here exactly ½ a day...everything faultless. I would love to give them a bad rating just to keep it secret but couldn’t do it. Accomodation modern and 1st rate, right on the beach …………rare here. Food absolutely fantastic, noticed guests from other resorts coming here to eat. But best of all attentive and friendly staff. Looking forward to the rest of my visit here...already extending our stay. Place is so good I decided to review early.

Arriving in the evening, never having been before, was a slightly unsettling experience as we could not see the property in the dark; however, all concerns evaporated when we were shown our lovely little cottage. The bedroom and bathroom were enormous, immaculate, and tastefully furnished. Waking the next morning to discover the magnificent view from our sliding doors of a beach best described as primeval, with a very low tide, limestone monoliths rising from the water with charming Thai long tail boats sailing by. The breakfasts were outstanding, service impeccable, amenities while simple were all that one could want on a beach vacation. A beach bag was filled with fresh towels and water replenished daily. The staff was warm and gracious. After traveling for two weeks throughout Thailand we were ready for this quiet, peaceful setting. Hiring a Longtail boat for the day is a must...touring all the little islands, eating a picnic lunch, swimming and viewing these magnificent rock formations made us realize how fortunate we were in choosing this property (actually our Thai hosts did). We loved it and could have happily remained there, living the beach life.
