Qunu falls is the place to be when you need a quiet weekend away with family. It was the most awesome experience staying for 3 nights at Qunu Falls. The staff are very friendly, every need was taken care of, and the only thing you have to carry are extra towels, because towels are not changed daily. The outside jacuzzi on a cold afternoon is really amazing. Really loved it. The hike to the falls was extremely good. Will see you again soon at Qunu Falls.

We were ending a wonderful and adventureous family holiday in the Drakensberg to celebrate our parent's wedding anniversary. We ended the holiday with a 3 night stay at Qunu Falls. What a beautiful and tranquil little peace of nature.
From our pleasant experience booking in, the coffee and OBS to greet us and make us feel at home, the champagne and chocolates awaiting the anniversary couple in the unit. To Danie the manager's friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile and bring us an extra blanket, towel and camping cot. The team at Qunu Falls are so friendly and helpfull, allowing the guest to take DVDs to the units to watch a movie in the comfort of the comfy couches in your unit.
The units are spotless and freshingly modern, fully equipped.
Loadsbedding? What loadshedding? Large powerful generator ensures that loadshedding does not damper our experience, one only experiences a slight 10sec dip in electricity when the power turns off and swithches over to generator power! Oven, stove, microwave, fridge all of it unaffected by the loadshedding!
The facilities are well-kept and such a delight. The children loved the play area with a awesome play gym. There is so much to keep you busy for hours such as rock climbing for kids, games room, jaccuzzj, sparkling pool, jumping pillow, tennis court, trout dam for some serious fishing, table tennis, cinema, restuarant with bar and so much more!
A option of walking trails, we had the pleasure of talking a short 2km walk down to the top of the waterfull and enjoy the lush forest and vast variety of bird life.
This one I will be talking about for years. Hightly recommending Quna Falls Ixopo Drakensberg!

We had a super relaxed holiday stay at Qunu Lodge. The lodge is big and clean. From friendly staff to a warm welcome reception, in terms of hiking from Qunu Falls to Thnder Falls hike, from playing games to spending time in a swimming pool, from relaxing in a warm jacuzzi to sitting in a ease lounge or cinema or in a bar or in a big relaxing room next to a fire place, from experiencing the sounds of domestic animals to a nice view of a fog at night. There's a lot to tell about the lodge. We had a great stay there and would love to go back. Big ups to the staff members, Thembeka, Wandie, Mondli and others. Thank you for the hospitality.

Finally got a well deserved rest away from the city rush. Situated in the middle of Drakensberg, it is a quiet place to just sleep, relax and walk. Spent my time between the jacuzzi and the sauna. Best part was Walking to the Thunder Falls at the base of the lodge. Great food and friendly staff.

We were greeted by the lovely staff who were so incredibly welcoming and friendly! They showed us around, answered all questions and made us feel like a part of the family. Clean and beautiful units. Wonderful activities and hikes to take!
We made use of the sauna, pool, sunbeds, restaurant and hiking trails. Grounds are kept neat and clean.
Tip: do not follow the GPS through Richmond if you don’t have a bakkie or higher car. It is a wonderful scenic route (gravel road) up a mountain but if you have a VW Polo, you do not get to appreciate the views. Rather follow the clear instructions given by the Lodge.

Settled in peaceful natural surrounds. The place is neat and tidy and the staff are friendly. The walkways to the waterfalls especially to the bottom are beautiful and worthwhile although elderly and unfit people might find it challenging. I can highly recommend a visit.

Firstly the staff and management are first class, friendly and attentative. Units are clean and neat, with everything you need to be comfortable. The restaurant is quaint and served delicious food of ample portion size.
The grounds are very well kept and spacious with lots to do to keep busy or laze around in the hammocks or sun chairs by the pool.

What an amazing resort, the best holiday I have ever been on. There is so much to do, staff is wonderful and Danie the resort manager, what a God-sent. This resort is perfect for a romantic getaway & a family break. The amenities are endless; hiking trails, horse riding, gym & sauna, fishing, pool & jaccuzi, braai facilities, cinema, putt 'n play, tennis, table tennis, games room; the list is endless. There are lemon and peach trees growing at the resort, couldn't resist getting a few lemons, there are also bushbucks walking around, very human shy but beautiful to watch from a distance. The views are just, magnificent.
I will definitely go again!

Qunu Falls Lodge is doing it ALL right! What an experience. The staff are passionate about the guest experience and really go above and beyond to ensure the an stay that is memorable. We enjoyed the hot tub so much during the cooler periods. The hike to the view of Qunu Falls was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed a little movie experience as well as feeding and riding the horses. One of the best parts was when all the kiddies gathered around to take part in a baking experience with Max's Kitchen Fun. And not forgetting having an adventure searching the resort for QR codes to scan to participate in Max's Fun Club app. And then what better way to wide down that to go to the dam and have a little chill session in a hammock surrounded by nature. Well done to all the staff for creating such a memorable experience at your resort!

The resort is beautifully kept and a pleasure to meander in. The units (we had three) are lovely and very comfortable, especially the beds. My only suggestion would be better signposted for the walks or to advertise a time when they could offer guided tours. There are many stairs between the units we were in but it kept us fit. A most relaxing weekend and highly recommended.
