It sits right on the rim of the Ngorogoro Crater. Each room overlooks the crater for stunning rooms. Unlike lodges in other parks, because it is cold here, the rooms ae all inside (no inside-outside vibe). They have thatched roofs and wooden floors, but chandeliers...More

There is nothing like Crater Lodge. Sitting on the edge of the Ngorogoro Crater is amazing enough, but this heavenly place is truly Masaii meets Versailles. The rooms are almost indescribable with claw feet bathtubs looking through tall double windows right onto the Crater itself....More

The most UNFORGETTABLE place we will ever stay .... trip of a lifetime...coolest hotel ever.......beyond amazing in every way. Walking up in the morning and looking at the sun rise over the crater is simply breathtaking.

Rhinos are probably the rarest of the big5 to see, and I don't think you will see them at the property. I was only here one night and only saw buffalo that had come close up.
