We are so glad we took advantage of 8 Bells Winter Sizzling Special of dinner, bed, breakfast & teas. Lovely accommodation, big room with bath. Enjoyed Continental & English breakfasts and delicious 3 course dinners. Enjoyed playing snooker! Very pleased to find the hotel and grounds so well maintained with sparkling pool (even in winter!). Lovely staff and will definitely visit again.

I had the chance to enjoy this little paradise nestled in a beautiful park, with a warm hospitality and great service. The Swiss chalet was cozy, super nice, spacious and the lavande flowers on the towels were a little touch that made the welcome more enjoyable. The tea time in the large living area in front of the fireplace, having a wide choice of books available, the nice restaurant with great food (I had a specific request out of the menu made in a perfect way) together with the high professional attitude of all the people made my stay a great souvenir during the Garden Route tour.

We had a wonderful stay at Eight Bells. Our meals were really good. We were kept updated about the power outage caused by the storm and it was not a problem at all. My only disappointment was... on arrival, it was pouring with rain. A staff member was called to show us our room which was virtually the last chalet, no umbrella, I was actually 61 that day and can't run following a fall, so got to the room soaked. An umbrella was available in the room!!

We loved our stay in one of the log cabins. crisp white sheets, comfy bed, spotlessly clean and cozy. Wake up to the sun rising over the mountains. We are trail runners and ran/hiked the Kouma trail nearby on Robinsons Pass which is spectacular. After the run and a nap, cold Beers on the couch in the cozy lounge and a great dinner in their restaurant. It’s a great place for a weekend away and to explore those beautiful mountains. Thanks to the friendly staff and manager! We’ll be back!
