Stone Manor was ideally situated for the business trip I was on and only 2 minutes from where I needed to be. Shirley, or host, was super friendly and chatty and we got along well. The building is old and spacious and offered everything I needed for my trip. The garden is immaculate and clearly well maintained. If you are looking for modern finishes and decor then this is not it. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with a good shower is what I would always like to see. The bed was comfortable and I was able to get a good night's rest even on the first night which is often difficult. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit salad, yogurt and muesli as starters. Would gladly return.

The place is very beautiful. I had a spacious room with a big bathroom and a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious 😋! And Shirley is a wonderful host. It’s well situated but very quiet. Definitely recommend.

This Guest House belomgs to the best on my South African Round Tour and espescially in Mosselbay. It has a wonderful garden, a well located Terrace with a wonderful view dorn iover the city and towards the harbour and the ocean bay . A stunning view over the Bay. A warm caring host. A quite simply beautiful bedroom. A breakfast so good... You get the picture. NSM is simply a top draw Guesthouse and a real gem of a find as we tootled along the Garden Route towards PE. So where to start? Well the lovely Shirley is as good a place as any. Despite a long busy season, this lady looks after you as if you're the only guest in the World. A mine of information. Want something? Just ask. Looking for recommendations for a bite to eat? Easy peasy, how long have you got? A real pleasure to meet and a great ambassador for this wonderful 200 year old former Chapel. Our room on the balcony looked across to heaven. We'll the bay to be more accurate, but what a view. The room itself was simply stunning. A colonial throwback. Huge. Wonderful bed, crisp white sheets. Local SA Sherry to welcome us. A lovely and clean bathroom. Fridge, modcons. Stop. My fingers are aching typing so much.... And in the morning, Sonia produced an amazing breakfast with speciality omelette, fresh fruit and lashings of coffee that tastes like coffee unlike some GHs. The gardens were tended with care. The pool looked inviting but we decided to pass as we relaxed on the balcony thinking of the UK in sub zero temperatures... People dish MB as place to start and pass through on the Garden Route. We only stayed one night but it was very pleasant, although the weather was bad. A very interesting house with all the art. Breakfast was good and so were the views from the room, veranda etc. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room.

Really good stay... Shirley is very helpfull and nice! The rooms are very big, also the bathrooms.... The view from the balcony is the best, is it possible to see the ocean from there. Really good breakfast (it cooked specially to you).

We have just stayed at this lovely guest house. Large spacious room. Delightful host who was so helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely setting. Just slightly marked down as the room we had needs a little updating esp the floors but it was all very clean. We were well looked after. Thank you Shirley.
