Betty's is a luxurious boutique hotel . It oozes old fashioned elegance, it was built in 1903 from limestone. It sits high up on a hill overlooking Mossel bay, the start of the garden route. It has fabulous views of the Indian Ocean and the outeniqua mountains. We have large beautiful gardens that you can sit in and have a sundowner, or you can take a swim in our private outdoor heated pool. All our rooms are en suite with showers and 2 have free standing bath tubs as well , all have flat screen TVs and Air Conditioning .

Betty's Boutique Hotel did not disappoint, from the friendly welcome at the entrance to the so-longs at the end of our stay. It is a warm, inviting happy place, with some of the quaintest and quirkiest decor. The food is delicious, the water is hot and the beds are comfortable. Mossel Bay was altogether a very pleasant surprise.

We had a super overnight stay at this B&B. We enjoyed welcome drinks on the verandah overlooking a beautiful English garden. The underground pub was a real gem. We chose the Spa room which was beautifully decorated and in a lovely courtyard. Everything was just like a spa, from fluffy towels and dressings gowns, a fantastic shower, bath salts and creams and super comfortable bed. Homemade rusks were delicious to enjoy with our morning coffee. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the verandah served on beautiful crockery. A rare gem in Mossel Bay.

Thanks so much for your very kind review , and taking the time to write such details. we love it when guests love all the little touches we add to Betty! The bath salts are hand made by a small business in Cape Town & have certainly been a big hit! Our daughter chef Daisy loves to bake and give all our guest a chance to sample her rusks by putting them in all rooms as well as enjoying her delicious bfasts . We’re glad you also enjoyed a drink in our new 1920 ‘s Speakeasy bar … our covid project which kept us motivated … and is now very popular . Hurry back soon we can’t wait to spoil you again ! Warmest regards from us all Lewis Daisy & Team Betty’s
