WOW! Absolutely amazing lodge with totally amazing staff. This was our first stop in the delta and it did not disappoint. The rooms are absolutely incredible, the level of detail in not only the rooms but the common space are breath taking. We had Tapz as our personal member of staff and he was incredible. Such good company and amazing at his job. You are waited on hand and food, they have an amazing bar and do amazing cocktails which is welcomed after a long day of safari! The food is incredible as well. It is a must visit!

This was our last stop on a month long tour of southern Africa. What a treat like no other that we have had, on any trip, anywhere! The gorgeous lodge is open air and built with the shape of a pangolin in mind. Elephants walk by as you are eating. The lodges are stunning. They have a beautiful deck with cushioned seats all around and your own pool! You can see the elephants on a nearby island from your deck. The room has all the amenities you could need. There is even a service door in a cabinet for your butler to bring you your morning coffee without entering the room. Staff bend over backwards to make you comfortable. Then there are the safaris! Morning and evening guided by their rangers. Since this is a private concession, vehicles can go off road for better game viewing. Our ranger, Rodgers and our tracker, KB were knowledgeable in all areas related to life in the savanna, including the stars! They made sure we got the full experience while respecting the animals. I never wanted to leave!

Accommodation is really outstanding as is the lodge design and layout. Location is very relaxing but hidden in front of a large field of reeds restricts your vision. Having said that the reeds are beautiful . There is a family of otter in the river in front of the lodge and elephant frequent the camp.. including a cute youngster . The game drives were very good and we saw cheetah and two groups of lion including cubs as well as a myriad of wonderful animals and birds. Lots of birds.
Our guides Rogers and Tao really tried very hard and tracked lion for us one night for an hour. Finally finding an amazing family group. Rogers is very knowledgeable and was born in Okavango.
Our butler TS was really kind and willing to assist . Rooms were clean and beautifully designed and situated.
Food was good but a bit hit or miss. Breakfast was excellent lunch very good as well. Deserts were really very nice but biscuits were awful lol .. so maybe four stars here.
Management were attentive
Internet was adequate
Overall a great stay recommended

and beyond described it all! The staff was so welcoming and our guide and tracker were Stepor and Pro were so fun and amazing. Loved our very unique stilted bungalow and the very private outdoor area. The service could not have been better and the food was prepared by the most delightful chef! Many little surprises which I will not go into. All and all a wonderful stay complete with lots of hippos, wild dogs and even a lion price of 9.

This was the second (and sadly final) lodge in our stay in the Okavango, following four nights at Xaranna. A contrasting experience in terms of the style of the lodge and local geography, but just as (if not more) rewarding. Our guides KK and Judas pulled out all the stops with great sightings of leopard and cheetah, among many others. The lodge staff all very friendly and helpful, food is great and accommodation very comfortable. We decided to splash out on a helicopter tour, which was not cheap (you can fly the Atlantic for less!), but worth every penny and a fitting climax to our safari. I would unhesitatingly recommend Sandibe to anyone looking for an unsurpassable safari experience.

Sandibe has just been renovated. It was a perfect place to end our families 18 day trip to South Africa and Botswana. The rooms are very comfortable and large. We were here in May, so the staff built fires for us each evening. The porches are large with lounging areas. We saw rhinos, baboons and elephants right next to our deck. The staff is very attentive to special requests and creating a very memorable stay.
We ended our trip at this lodge. It was the fifth place that we stayed, and was a perfect end to our family vacation. The game sightings here are magical. We saw hearts of zebra, cape buffalo, prides of lions with their new cubs, elephants, giraffes, and leopards. The scent of wild sage and laveander will always remind me of the morning drives around this lodge.

We had been to Sandibe before, but wanted to go back there has it has been completely revamped with amazing new architecture. The lodge is formatted to resemble a pangolin and the rooms are supposed to look like weavers nests. it really is worth seeing what they have managed to achieve in the middle of the Okavango Delta. We liked the large spacious luxury rooms, and the in room free wi fi was a bonus...but we felt that a couple of chairs instead of the low bean bag would have been better for us. The food and the staff were outstanding...and particular mention must go to our guide Tshabo who we rated was the best that we have ever had on safari. We are birders and his knowledge was phenominal. His eyesight was amazing and he really made this trip to Sandibe hugely rewarding and special and he found us all sorts of interesting game and bird sightings. The safari experience is excellent at Sandibe as its on the edge of the Moremi game reserve..only the rhino are scarce. I would highly recommend this lodge and Thabo, Arron and the rest of the staff are amazing.
