The hotel rooms are very small and kind of suffocating especially when sharing. The staff are not friendly and need more training on customer service standards. Their WiFi though is very reliable. They don't provide buffet breakfast no dinner which i found strange for a three star hotel.

Friendly staff good communication easy and welcoming people but the hotel needs to meet their service half way, its clean but its old, needs refurbishment. A busy hotel like this shouldn't be having a dusty smell. Requires alot of airfreshners especially passages. Too basic inside rooms for such prices

This is an overpriced 1 star hotel that prides itself as a 3 star. The hotel is located in a dilapidated building, it has no lift and you have to walk up to you rooms. The rooms require an urgent upgrade; furniture didn’t match, the shower door didn’t close, the A/C made noise the whole night. I’m glad I only booked one night as the second I opened the door into my room I wanted to leave! It would have been better if slept in my car. I also asked for towels and I had to physically walk down to reception to get them after 45 mins of waiting. I’m done with the Peermont Brand and it appears they only thing they are interested it is grubby accommodation!! Please invest those casino earnings into revamping the hotel or relocating it!!! Worst Hotel experience In my life !!

This is a very disappointing place to stay. The welcome was poor. That wasn't entirely their fault, there had been a mix-up with the booking but the checkin staff had known about this for some days but hadn't taken the time to try and fix it before our arrival. The room was very small and in need of a lot of attention. For instance, I wasn't able to close the shower door with my right hand because the door handle was so close to the frame, I scratched my hand every time. The shower head itself was faulty. There weren't enough towels and I had to ask for more. The place was really noisy during the night, partially due to the design of the long, prison-like corridors making even the smallest noises echo. The bar, where we had a quick drink after checking in is a deeply depressing place. The only uplifting thing was that the staff member who served us was very friendly. Other than that I can't think of anything positive to say.

We felt unsafe due to some unsavoury people hassling us on the way in with no security around. Dingy casino on the way to the average restaurant was very unappealing. The massive intersection nearby provides constant road noise even at night. We were booked for business for 3 nights and checked out after the first night. Well overpriced as well.

I will not stay at this establishment in Francistown again, very poor service at reception, not very helpful when checking out, were not able to have breakfast as restaurant only opened an hour after the time stated by reception information. In general a service was poor.

For the price of 1,340 Botswana Pula, I think the value that the lodge offers is poor. Ive stayed there a few times for lack of better options. The room is pretty basic, some of the lights don't work, The corridors and shower always has a pungent sewerage smell. Corridors are always noisy with guests slamming doors, no surprise theres big gaps in the doors that the noise comes through. The breakfast is lousy and bland, with poor table service, they don't cover the food with nets so the flies sit on the food.

Metcourt was easy to find, and at the moment in Francistown, that is a big plus. There are extensive roadworks in and around town, and well-planned and clearly sign-posted deviations are quite foreign to contractors and officials alike! Allow an extra half-hour or more when planning your schedule for the day, because you need it.
Check-in at Metcourt is efficient, as one would expect from a hotel in the Peermont group, and the rooms are well-furnished and comfortable. If you don't like stairs, ask for a ground floor room, though, because there isn't a lift! The range of channels on TV is good, and the wifi is also good, once you get logged in. There seems to be some experimenting with usernames and passwords, but if you take the device to the front desk they will get it working, and the bandwidth is reasonably good. The hotel has no restaurant, but the Spur is just next door, and in many respects this is probably better. Metcourt is a good, no-frills hotel for a couple of days on business.

A cosy hotel located in the heart of francistown within walking distance of city malls. Has great rooms with Dtsv, showers and free wif-fi. great service and location though air con was non functional. staff courteous and friendly but was allocated room in smokers section. air was damp and reeking of cigarettes. otherwise great hotel for overnight stay while in transit. food at adjacent spur was top notch. parking secure and choice of television channels varied. All in all had a good night sleep with very little disturbances. would certainly recommend it for overnight travellers. its location in the middle of francistown makes it noisy during the day and the parking area is limited. One thing about staff is that English is not their favourite launguage and would rather stick to the local setswana. inconvenient for international travellers and tourists. asked for a wake up call didn't get one nor an apology. On checking in and out no help was rendered with luggage with guests left to their devices. Hotel is great but a lot of work needed in staff etiquette. Would certainly recommend it for the not so fussy traveller in need of budget overnight accommodation. Otherwise not suited to the sensitive traveller staying for a couple of days with family and friends.
