Detailed Reviews
The resort is rated 5 star, but in my opinion it is at best a 3 star establishment adjacent to a golf course.
Very difficult to find because the address does not exist in any search maps.
The standard rooms are large with no windows and a smell of cheap disinfectant.
I did not see the spa facilities and cannot comment.
The staff were very helpful and tried to accommodate us as best they could, but the building and the facilities are not what was described.
We did not like it

On Saturday 20th November 2021, I and my mum checked in at Pomegranite Resort and Spa on a site visit of the facility
There is no clear labelling or signs directing you to the resort and its even easy to miss tge entrance gate. Whilst in the premises there is no clear signage for the accommodation facility and even though there is seperate parking for golfers and the hotel, there are no signs to indicate that.
The rooms are clean and standard. The standard room has a shower, the room is spacious. There are no telephones in the rooms and rooms are not numbered. We stayed in the upstairs standard room thst was not ideal for my old lady. I had a chance to see The executive room, it has an outside shower, outdoor patio, the bathroom is very large with an option of a bath tub. Ideal for people who enjoy the outdoors and a nice view
Room amenities
Even though it was the two of us stsying in the room, amenities provided are for 1 person. 1 bottle of water, 1 small towel and 1 big towel, and bath amenities for 1
The Television, even though advised thete is Dstv , there was only one channel available channel 100, the free informatial television channel. Upon inquirying abd requesting that I have more channels, I was informed the maintanance person had knocked off so there was no help I could get. This then means if there is any problem in the room, there is no urgency to fix it after maintanance has knocked off. So its either you wait the next day or you fix it yourself.
Events. We were informed that there was an event on that night but little did we know that it was an all night event. The hotel is quite small similar to a house sl the event was in the same building. Rooms are not sound proof and throughout the night, we could hear the loud music, screaming and shouting, as well as people signing along to music. I called the general manager at 1 am
and phone went unanswered, called the operations manager and still her number went unanswered. Tried to find the security guard and he was no where to be found. So i took it upon myself to plead with the people at the event to at least lower tgeir volume. They really understood but they were unhappy as well as they were not inforned there would be guests on site.
The music stopped at around 2am.
In the morning breakfast was good. We had the breakfast special for P65 per person. French fries, two eggs, bacon, baked beans and pork sausages. Sadly they dont ask how you want your eggs to be done or if you eat pork.
We wanted to taje some pictures fir tge golf course and were informed you pay an extra P100 for going on the lawn. O didnt understand how then its a resort if you have to pay extra for going just on a lawn and not even playing golf
By the way noone from management has bothered to return my call or acknowledged my genuine disgruntlements of the experience i and my mother had.
The resort however has great potential. If driving from Kasane/Maun to Tuli block, it could be a great spot to overnight and enjoy a game of golf or even go horse riding or on a gane drive at Tachila Gane Reserve which is merely a few minutes drive from the Resort
This feedback has been shared with the Resort and I do hope they do attend to some things to make clients/guests experience enjoyable

A gem in Francistown. Found by accident when looking for a place to stay en route back to Johannesburg. It is a great place just to unwind. Susan the chef was amazing. Her passion one can see immediately and one experiences it in her food. Loved it would go back again.
