This was my superb dinner. The fish was grilled to perfection and having the chips was amazing.

I stayed at Recency Hotel Flamboyant while on a business trip. The hotel is sighted outside the city and had a large number of guests. The room I stayed in is spacious & clean. The furniture is ok . I was however made uncomfortable by the security alarm that was just outside my room as it went off twice including at 2.00am

Poor hotel with poor reception staff, poor cleaning. shower is so close to the wall and facing 90 down that u have to stand against the wall and take a shower. The food was so so. Would not recommend anyone to try the same. The pool seemed as if someone had not cleaned the same in ages. The parking lot had garbage lying around.

The hotel was getting painted but the rooms were not smelly so that the plus point and its spread in a open compound so the greenery around the hotel was nice and pleasant.

We arrived without reservation, and got a room for one night without any problem. Anywhere else, I would describe this hotel as too expensive for what it offers, but in Zimbabwean terms it is actually good value. The rooms have no great flaws, there is good wifi and hot water.

There is a "casino" inside, which gives the place an air of shadiness, but this did not affect our stay in any way.

The hotel restaurant feels a bit awkward (many tables, few diners, and too many staff), but the dinner we had there was perfectly alright. Breakfast was hearty and reasonably tasty.

Since the hotel is a bit outside central Masvingo, it took some time to get a taxi down there.

Thank you Regency Hotels and Leisure for such an amazing weekend for mothers day event. My mother, Mrs Beauty Mawire also attended the event. Wendy Ngirazi was so exceptional and she helped in putting a smile on my mother's face. Very professional and excellent services offered to my mother. The tour to the Great Zimbabwe and Lake Mutirikwi will be remembered forever and my mother can't stop talking about it. She's very happy and I recommend others around the world to visit Regency Hotels in Masvingo and you will enjoy your stay. I will visit Flamborough and Chevron Hotels when I visit Zimbabwe. Indeed, Zim bhoo, with so much lovely places to stay. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🥰🥰

My family and I checked in at 10 pm to rest up from a long drive. ALL the 3 rooms were not clean: dirty stained sheets, sinks, tubs, filthy carpet. One of the pillows has blobs of snot, it was so nasty. The manager was not available so the Loss Prevention guy tried his best to move us, the next 3 rooms also had issues until we finally just said enough. We slept after midnight on our personal towels with no covers on. We did NOT go to breakfast, nor did we shower there. We just couldn't wait to go the next morning. They refused to refund us part of the money even after filling out a complaint form. DO NOT go there, you're better off sleeping in your car. The name has to be changed. It's obvious the owner is never there, otherwise it wouldn't be this bad.

I stayed a week here and it was the very worst of Zimbabwe. The hotel rooms bear no resemblance to the "official" photos. The hotel is old, mouldy and falling apart, locks on doors are feeble, food awful and staff, for the most part surly - though credit to a couple of staff at reception and one waiter who made an effort. Go elsewhere.

I have never been to this property and was surprised at the updated look they have. The bar well stocked, the staff extra friendly. Ran ourselves a really hot bath enjoyed the air conditioned rooms and the cool veranda in the rooms. Did I mention the well stocked bar that prompts you to have a scotch on the rocks and I am not even a WHISKEY person. Great place to stay when you are in the GREAT CITY

The hotel rooms are average but comfortable for short stays. If one is strictly on business and will not seek any other comforts it is okay...
The staff are not friendly or accommodating, asked for room service and was given a rude response that made me go elsewhere for my meal.
Swimming pool was not cleaned and yet it was very hot, making the demand for it high. when asked the ladies were so abrupt, the pool was left closed after that.
The student waiters were much more helpful, friendly and efficient.

It was a sleepover while I was in the town. The staff was very helpful and would go out of their way to assist. Room service was quick and I did enjoy the fish. Later, the next day, the massive salad was a delight and the bar area is good too. I was a bit sad they did not have adaptors so had to do some irregular stuff to use my laptop. Otherwise a great experience. And the designs on the walls outside are pretty awesome. Decent place.

The hotel is conveniently located as it is close to the city centre and along the Masvingo-Beitbrige road.

The Exor garage, where you can get fuel, some groceries and fast foods - Steers and Chicken Inn, is less than a kilometre away and you can walk to buy some food stuffs if you wish.

I also liked the free car wash every morning.

Masvingo, as a small city, does not have world class hotels, so I advise people not to expect too much - to avoid disappointment. Because of its convenient location, I would say Hotel Flamboyant is the best hotel in Mavingo if you come for a short stay on business.
