Most noisy hotelroom ever, our private room was next to the showers of the hostel, so you could hear everything on the hallway. Bring good earplugs!! Dusty room, got some throat problems next morning. Besides that the location is great, just 5 minutes walk to the Fitz Roy

We stayed two nights then went camping and stayed one more night in room 20, a dorm with only two beds :) Just perfect 👌 The shower is amazing, very clean. You have every thing you need in the kitchen area. But the most of all, the staff is really really nice. There are there

We didn't actually stay here, but we ate breakfast here for most of our stay in El Shalten. The staff are friendly and helpful, they offer info, tours and currency exchange. There''s wifi here, it's bad all over town, but not bad here. Americano breakfast is a reasonable

We were greeted very warmly by the reception staff who were very helpful and offered good advice about trekking. We stayed 2 nights in different private rooms as we went trekking for a night in between. The rooms were basic and clean (except I'm not sure when they last cleaned

The hostel has a locker room which is neither manned nor locked. So you will leave your bags at your own risk. I suggest you bringing along a chain and lock pad to secure it.

I stayed there in Nov 2014 and there was no free shuttle, not even to the El Chalten bus station just 500 meters away. For transfer to El Calafate airport, you can arrange with one of the long distance bus (minivan) companies for pick up from your hostel.

Does anyone have an email contact for this hostel?
El Chalten es muy chiquito, y los alojamientos son caros. En este caso, por mas que sea un hostel, la habitacion privada es como la de un hotel, muy linda y confortable, con un sommier enorme y ducha espectacular.
