No disrespect intended, but whoever is giving this motel positive reviews isn't doing so based on the accomodation. It's in a great location and is close to the beach, and restaurants and shops are right across the street. The staff were courteous and helpful but the room itself left alot to be desired. I really don't know where to start. Let's just I still wince every time I look at my credit card bill!

If you don't mind slumming it and overpaying for the privelige, then stay here!

First, it's not 7 it's 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Room smells like bleach. Mattress from ww2 I think they still haven't change it. The most uncomfortable bed in my experience and we travel a lot all over the world and stay at budget hotel but this is something else.
Staff is friendly but you are paying top dollar to stay in this dump so they better be! I believe some "great" reviews are based on overall Wasaga experience which is great. Unless they change mattresses, adjust the doors, get bigger tv (they still got cube!!! It's 2013) even in Cuba at 2 stars motels there are flat screens. Anyways overall Wasaga experience is great, this place was a low point we are not bitter we had great time just honest truth, would not be back at these conditions. Hope this helps.
I really urge management to make some changes you will struggle in near future.

We travel a lot and have stayed at different type of rooms: fancy and average ones. Their rooms are highly overpriced. The room price they charged us $140 is worth of $50 and no more. Even the room looks clean, the furniture is old and dirty to the point that it stikcs to your fingers which brings their hygene level under question. The toilet doesn't flush properly. They charge too much money for poor condition of the rooom.

We stayed at the Kingsbridge Inn, where Shopie and Dianne took great care of us.
My Husband and I are a in our mid 20's and still like to have fun but not eat just burgers and pizza everyday, and Wsaga Beach has that, and the burgers and Pizzas (good for late night post bar snacks)
the hotel (Kings Bridge Inn) was great. Its not the fanciest place, but its clean and comfortable and has everything that you can imagine. pools v-ball court etc and they are close eneuph to walk to the beach. There was a grocery store right there wich was great because we had a small kitchen in our room, and the have free coffee in the morning (so great, expecially after the bar)

We did a bit of shopping, but didnt realize that there are the cheap stores (and not good cheap, bad quality cheap) and then the real beach stores. Those ones are close to the water slides, and is where you want to go shopping. They have alot of great prices on great clothes, i bought a few pairs of Roxy and Oneill shorts and my husband got some quiksilver dress shirts, way cheaper than in Toronto.

over all, we had a great time, we are going back before the summer is out.

We stayed in room 17 on 18Aug2014. We have nothing good to say about our stay. The beds were horrible. The sag was extreme and the springs could be felt through the worn out padding. They were like yard sale rejects that should be in the dump. Furniture was yard sale grade too. Room looked like it was a patch job, not sure what the light switch inside the doorway does. Tacky old chain lamp plugged into an outlet was the main lighting. Patch work drywall, three different light bulbs in the bathroom, and don't shower anytime someone in another room might flush a toilet. Hot then cold at any time. Kids did not shower here. Room needs to be gutted. For $100, a complete joke. We don't ask for different rooms as this is what we were given. Rebuttal will not be accepted, as we should have been given a suitable room right from the start without the need to complain for one. I haven't even seen anything that bad in Cuba.

I am writing this review mostly because I booked this hotel before I read trip adviser reviews....most of the reviews seemed to be negative....so, when I arrived to check in I wasn't expecting too much.....first of all, Dianne, the Proprietor, took one look at my Husband (who is 6'3) and decided to change our original room booked, to a larger 2 bed room....for the same price, no extra cost :-) that alone, was going above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. We had our own picnic table outside our room and bbq's too that we could use. The whole time I thought my husband and I would have to go out for dinner...instead we went to the Walmart across the street and bought some ribs and chicken to Bbq for dinner, saved money not going out :-)....I hope I'm not babbling on too much, but just wanted to say that sometimes reviews on here are negative....we had the best time at this motel and can't wait to get a couple days off work in August so we can come and stay here again :-)

We rented a room at this hotel hoping we would get what we paid for. 226.00 a night is what we paid. Honestly, it was the worst place I've EVER seen!!! The room has a terrible rotten smell, the paper lamp shade was ripped, the bedding has smoke burns and we seen an earwig crawling in the bathroom. The furniture is old and dirty and not one piece matched the other. There was no microwave, no phone and no coffee machine. This place needs to be shut down or better managed.

We recently booked this hotel for two nights to have a mini beach vacay. After reading the reviews before arriving we weren't expecting anything special.Unfortunately, we were not wrong. We expect to pay more at resort towns for accommodations but these units are seriously overpriced.Bare minimum upkeep, wobbly toilet, leaky faucets, absolute zero water pressure in the shower, ice cold "heated pool" are just some of the things that need addressing. We will definitely look elsewhere the next time we are in Wasaga Beach.
