What a great relaxing friendly atmosphere, The owner Mario was excellent very friendly and welcoming, and guest-oriented and offers a beer upon arrival. He always made sure you have everything you need and that you are happy. The motel was well-kept rooms were clean they are on the older side but nothing major Great outdoor space with seating and BBQs and a fire pit. The tiny beach is a 3 min walk (sand/rocks). I would come back to this motel for sure.

The Wasaga Motel has amazing hosts in Mario and Christine. Very friendly, greeted us as we entered the parking lot. Quick to ensure our stay was top notch. Room was very clean, spacious and family/pet friendly. I advised Mario the propane on the BBQ was empty, he changed it with a full tank within the hour. Free wifi, Mario had an app the monitored the wifi connection and when he noticed a drop in services he spoke with the guests in the unit next to ours as they had inadvertently unplugged the hub. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We tried to find a room during Victoria Day long weekend but everything was booked.
After reading the reviews I called the owner and booked 4 nights and after that the experience got better and better.
We arrived late, he was there waiting for us to give us the key of our room. Asked if we need anything else or if we need the room to be cleaned the following day.
The room was very clean, I never stayed in a motel where the room condition and amenities are way better than 5 stars hotel. Kudos to you and your wife for such great work.
The bathroom seems to be recently renovated and it looks very modern, on a small scale but modern.
I was not expecting find shampoo but I did. Box of tissue was also in the room. Mini fridge also and working perfectly good. Microwave as well.
During weekend he wanted to entertain his guests, he started fireworks and it was sooooo good and everyone was very pleased.
His wife has a smile on her face and never annoyed or upset. God bless you two. Good job and all the best.

We had an amazing experience staying at Wasaga motel Inn. The rooms have everything from the stove and TV to the full size fridge, coffee maker and toaster. The rooms are extremely clean and comfy. it is basically small apartment. In the front yard there is many barbecues and tables with umbrellas. Luxury outdoor furniture and a couple of places for pit fire. The owners are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Thank you Chris and Mario for you hospitality. I can't wait to go back soon. Regarding the dogs...there were many quite families with dogs, no barking. This is what we like going for vacation. I strongly recommend to visit.

We booked a facility for 5 people from UK. It was an horrific place to stay. Walls and windows were covered by flies and mosquitoes. We just grabbed our stuff and escaped.

It was unbearable to stay, leave alone sleep for 2 nights. Small, cluttered and unhygienic. Our plan was shattered to stay and enjoy the blue mountains and join the Latin festival . We had to drive back 4 hours to stay with some friends.

When asked for refund, the manager said come back tomorrow and he would refund one night as he couldn’t refund the first night.
Anyway no refund and no help from Booking.com either.

If you have no care for where to sleep and just need a roof, go for this place. If you are used to a clean and civilised shelter, please AVOID this place.

Lost of 700 Canadian dollar for nothing.

We stayed here over Christmas. Brought our dog because we couldn’t board her. She didn’t like being left alone and was barking like mad so we had to come back and get her. She broke the blinds on the window and instead of allowing us to replace those blinds (for like $50) they charge us $150 damages fee.

Don’t stay here if you have a dog. Maybe don’t stay here at all. We were made to feel that our dog wasn’t welcome from the moment we checked in. Interestingly they were concerned about our dog barking but not concerned about all of the other motel guest noises that made our dog bark.

It’s otherwise a strictly fine motel.

This place is clean and owners Mario and Chris are awesome. So friendly, never experienced the kindness from owners ever in the past. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay and enjoy the gorgeous amenities this hotel has to offer. Picnic tables, loungers, bbq’s, kids play area and minutes walk to a tiny beach. >than 10 minutes to beach one.
Thanks for making our stay great!

Pleasantly surprised with our experience.

Were just expecting a simple no frills place to stay, but Mario and Christines hospitality turned it into a wonderful weekend.

Very accomodating hosts, could not do enough for you.

Rooms were clean and addequate.

Firepit and outdoor seating with a little Cuban music. Mario truly is a great character, and his lovely wife Christine have made this motel a little hidden gem.

From the moment we called until checkout we were made to feel so comfortable here. High attention to cleaning for Covid. So friendly and welcoming on the phone. Made it clear that we could call anytime if we had a concern. Motel unit was spotless.

We stayed there for the wakestock weekend. They were very rude to us, and didn't respect our privacy. At night they just stood infront of our room and watched us so that we didnt try to get another person in our room. There was only 4 people allowed per room and no guests after 10. Wouldn't go back, and wouldn't recommend anyone who doesn't enjoy creepy people standing outside their rooms after 10pm until about 3am.
