Great location near beach 1, very clean rooms and great staff. Accommodations are expensive in the area and this is the best spot I’ve booked near the beach. It gets a bit loud at night but the room is quite soundproof. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi in the room was spotless. It ain’t the ritz, but definitely one of the better motels in the area

Decent resort with motel sytle and cottage style rooms. Air conditioning almost worked too well and the room had all the amenities you would expect (even if it was completely covered floor to ceiling in wood panelling straight from the 1970s). It was a little cramped for the 4 of us at the same time but there was a lovely patio outside to enjoy! Very professional staff that were happy to help us out and a great location just across the bridge from the beach (5min walk). Average sized pool (not heated) with jets but the hot tub was not open. Public tennis court and playground are a short walk away. Not much parking so you might have some trouble finding a spot. Just beware of parties full of teenagers on weekends!!

We’ve stayed here before. Run of the mill property for Wasaga Beach. Now…. WOW ! This place has had a complete facelift and room makeover over the winter!

We stayed in a two bedroom suite. New furniture and flooring; nice electric fireplace for ambiance with heatilator. Kitchen well stocked with all new plates, cutlery, kitchen tools, pans, etc.

Large LED TV with Bell Satellite and all the channels.

The bedroom linens and double pillows are luxurious, as are the new nicely monogrammed towels in the bathroom. On that, lovely walk in shower with ohh so nice rain shower head.

Can’t think of a thing I would change. The owners have fine a great job in their renovations… we will 100% stay here again next time we are back. We have family in the area.

Stayed here one night. Worst wi fi ever, kicked off every 10 seconds. even with 2 choices of wifi connections Room was average. Noisy vehicles outside. No ice cube tray in freezer but they do sell ice for $3 a bag..... Could walk to the beach easily and free parking, Could use better thicker towels and better pillows. But mostly the wi fi needs to be improved

My husband and I visited Saga Resort for 3 days/2 nights. Our little cabin was spacious, exquisite and very clean. It was equipped with all the amenities to cook and even BBQ; there was a great little deck/patio to sit and enjoy the fresh cool air. The grounds were well kept, the hotel staff was courteous and kind.
The manager on duty Jennifer was welcoming, professional, courteous and extremely helpful.
Thank you Jennifer for the wonderful service above and beyond. You are indeed a great ambassador for your company. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

My wife and I stayed at this place for one night. I bought the reservation on Expedia for a King bed. The place smelled clean when we opened the door to our room. We were in room 9, which is on the second floor. There are 2 floors at this place. There are metal steps to the 2nd floor on both ends of the motel. The office lady was pleasant and checked us in quickly. I told her that we need to check out early on Saturday, so she gave me the code to open the key box to put inside. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillow was way too fluffy. The bathroom was clean, which is always important. There was also a jacuzzi tub, which we never used. There was also a blue loveseat that has seen better days. It was very noisy at night with people revving their engines and drag racing. Around midnight, we heard a woman shouting loudly 'help me, help me!' and 'he took my phone'. The guy was also shouting back. It really disturbed us and difficult to go back to sleep after that. There is nothing about this motel to call it a 'resort'. It's more like a motel where people can use it to crash for the night. Not very good and I wouldn't stay here again, unless there weren't other options.

If you're looking for a clean room in good condition, this is not the place. The floors had a film on them that left our feet black, there were flies, fruit flies and wasps in the condo, one bedroom door did not latch close and the double bed mattresses were as old as the resort itself.
Pros: It was very close to the beach (main strip), and was surprisingly well soundproofed (we could not hear any outdoor noise once inside). It does have A/C and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I booked this through Bookings .Com.
It was advertised as a Hotel.
We arrived and it was a Filthy dirty Motel. The room was a disgrace, I would go so far as to say "Not fit for Human Habitation”.
In the morning, I had been bitten by Bed Bugs.
We had booked Two nights, we could not stand being in that hovel another night.
I have never in my life experienced anything so bad.
In the morning I complained and asked for a partial refund, they refused.
This place should be closed down.
I would advise that you avoid this place.

The staff here is impeccable. Tasha from the front desk is fantastic. I had problems booking through booking.ca and she helped me book direct. Friendly and attentive the whole time. Even when things were going wrong with our groups she was always very patient especially since our group ranged from infants to elderly. Room 40 had a very bad smell and the fridge turned on and off and was very loud. Our porch looked like it has seen better days but was nice to sit outside. Other desk staff were pleasant but I didn’t speak to them much. When I called about my return, Tasha personally cancelled the hold so it would return to my account quicker. Amazing property with amazing staff. Will recommend

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We had issues at the last two places we stayed at during our trip. No issues here, they had our room ready early and were able to check in, when we just hoping to park. The rooms seem like they were recently renovated and well thought out. Like a place to rinse your feet easily in the shower when you get in from the beach. The luggage/rack/shelf spot to put your suitcase were handy we were able to use it to dry our towels on the top. The furniture was practical and cute. Next time I would like to stay longer, but enjoyed our stay.

Do the mini condos have a balcony?
Answer from Jennifer L
Wasaga Beach, Canada
Hi Tina, the upstairs Mini Condos have a balcony that goes the full length of the building and main floor Mini Condos have a covered patio that also goes the full length of the building. Each unit in the summer has tables and chairs outside. Hope this helps.

Answer from Jennifer L
Wasaga Beach, Canada
Hi Heidi, we are a 3 minute walk to the main beach, Beach Area One. Hope this helps Nancy
Answer from Jennifer L
Wasaga Beach, Canada
Hi Nance, Unfortunately we don't allow pets and we never have. Try calling the Chamber of Commerce (1-866-7242) here in the beach they should be able to tell you who allows pets. Hope this helps.
