Set in a quiet leafy street the house was extremely tastefully furnished and decorated. No bland beige here. Breakfasts were exquisite and the owners were very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Thank you! We decided to ban the beige and pine very early on so we are very pleased that you agree with our taste. All we can ask for is that you enjoyed your stay enough to feel happy to recommend us and that seems to have been achieved. We hope to see you again. Kind Regards Terry & Shirley

Cannot recommend Westlea highly enough! Terry & Shirley were fantastic hosts. Room was great, clean, comfy. Breakfast was super yummy! Lots of help from Terry re cycle routes / restaurants etc. Happy to accommodate the 3 push bikes we had and locked them up for us.

Westlea House is brilliant. It’s clean, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. We really enjoyed use of the communal area (especially the music room) and the breakfast was top notch. Terry and Shirley were so welcoming and made us feel at home. They even did our washing for us, what a great service!

If you are reading this and they have availability then book Westlea, we stayed here for one night on our road trip of Scotland, this was without doubt the best accommodation during the 14 nights, it is spotlessly clean, the attention to detail in our room was amazing for a B&B, most hotels are out to shame for the standard of this, the owners are a delightful couple and took time to give us advice on our journey.

Ullapool is a great little town and is well worth a visit, and this has to be the best place to stay while you're there. Only thing I'd change is that I would stay for longer next time. (We only stayed one night on the NC 500) Lot's of cool and homely touches around the place, and Terry's record collection (which you are welcome to peruse and play) is immense. We'll be back again
