#3 of 46 B&Bs / Inns in Ullapool
Travellers' Choice
Bungalow 500 is in a slightly elevated position with views across Loch Broom and down to the harbour - approximately a 5 minute walk to the heart of the village. Stunning location for a break all year round - Ullapool has a full live events calendar alongside the natural environment for walking, fishing, taking boat trips etc. Having stayed at many B&B's on our travels – we have tried to incorporate the most comfortable features when creating Bungalow 500 such as comfy settees, fast wi-fi, hot powerful showers, super comfy high quality beds. luxurious flax linen bedding, toiletries to hand and hairdryers in each room. Homemade cake, scones or biscuits are served between 4-5pm with tea or coffee to welcome you after your journey to Ullapool. Each room is ensuite with TV’s and tea/coffee making facilities. We have a guest lounge where you can plan your day and use if the weather is inclement. If you don’t fancy going out to one of the restaurants in the village then we will 'set you up' with plates and cutlery so you can enjoy your 'take-out'. The Highlands are prone to a spot of rain and so we have a drying room to help make the next day more comfortable! Enjoy choosing from our included scrumptious breakfast menu - continental or cooked traditional choices available including homemade rosti and fruit compote. We have seating on the terrace and in our woodland garden, where you will find peace and quiet. We have installed an in-house sauna to give a relaxing end to what will be a fabulous day spent in the Highlands whatever the season.

Phil and Elizabeth were incredible hosts, and have thought of everything their guests might need. We were cycling the NC500, and they were very accommodating for example providing bike storage and a laundry service, and the delicious pancake stack for breakfast definitely fuelled our ride! The homemade cakes at the daily afternoon tea were another highlight. I can’t recommend their b&b enough.

Lovely place! Very accommodating. We were very fortunate to find this place on short notice as our other accommodation, Harbour House, refused to honour our booking due to our 2 children. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed with Elizabeth & Philip earlier this week Wonderful hosts - friendly and attentive - who made our stay as comfortable as possible. Apart from our own bed this is the most comfortable we have ever slept in. My wife thinks all hotels should provide this type of bed. They also provided quality bedding and towels, and as our room had a roll top bath my wife took full advantage. We both had omelettes for breakfast with eggs provided by their own hens, and it was cooked to perfection If we were passing through Ullapool again we would definitely stay again.

What a gem, lovely large Bungalow with parking. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, with Very comfy and large bed, great pillows, (i hate thin pillows) and a great bathroom, with luxury bath towels. I think the fantastic hosts Phil and Elizabeth have thought of everything! After a day exploring it felt welcoming to return to the B&B, especially the coffee and cakes!. Good Breakfast, via pre order. Would highly recommend the accommodation, my only personal point was the road noise from main road into the town, of course out of hosts control. Otherwise a 10/10 and will return in future.

Really nice and Beautiful B&B. Phil and Elisabeth are really friendly and nice people. I felt like home when I was there. The room was clean and cozy, with a view on the landscape. The breakfast was delicious :)

Hi Emanuelal950 Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We try to go for a 'home' atmosphere - keep things relaxed - travelling between places can be quite stressful despite it being a holiday. It sounds like 'we hit a good mark'. Safe onward travels.
