Neil and Aidan welcome you to Ardvreck House; a comfortable and friendly place to stay whilst visiting the North West Highlands. Situated roughly one and a half miles North of the fishing village of Ullapool in the North West Highlands, following along the route of the NC500; Ardvreck House enjoys spectacular views of Loch Broom, Ullapool and the surrounding mountains from a secluded location on the hillside; the perfect base for relaxing after exploring all that the local area has to offer. A short drive or a stunning walk along the beach will take you in to the village where several good eating places can be found as well as local tourist attractions and the ferry port which will take you twice daily to Stornoway. All of our rooms have en-suite shower rooms, digital flat screen TV's, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary biscuits. Breakfast is included in the room rate as is the Wi-Fi which can be used throughout the house - a residents lounge is available 24 hours a day and enjoys panoramic views across Loch Broom. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us here at Ardvreck House.

Only stayed one night before a ferry crossing to Lewis and this was perfect our needs. The self service check-in is efficient and works well. Room was spotlessly clean and well proportioned for one night. Breakfast, pre-selected the night before was plentiful and served with real care and consideration. Our interaction with the owners/staff was minimal and only at breakfast but those we met were very friendly and helpful. The house is a little way out of Ullapool, not really walking distance. It's a very short drive but something to be aware of when making your plans. Overall a perfect stay for our needs and somewhere I would wholly recommend .

Stayed here one night prior to catching the ferry to Lewis. Weather pretty poor but in good weather the location and views must be spectacular. Room spotlessly clean and well equipped, breakfast lovely and hosts are charming. Highly recommended.

My husband booked Ardvreck House as part of the NC500 for my 50th birthday. Absolutely stunning location. Our room was beautiful, clean, had tea & coffee facilities & toiletries. Breakfast was lovely & a great system where you fill out sheet when you arrive & pop into box downstairs before 7pm so when you arrive for breakfast, they already know what you are having & it is in front of you in no time at all. Aiden was a breath of fresh air & made sure everyone was looked after & you always got service with a smile & chatted with all their guests. One of the best accommodations we have stayed at during the NC500 & was fabulous to spend my 50th birthday so beautiful, stunning & memorable. Totally recommend & will hopefully be back one day.
