This was a lovely place and good location within Ullapool. The room was big, bathroom lovely, we’ve no complaints. The hospitality was excellent, the on;y criticism is that it was quite pricey but so was everything else in this area so I won’t mark it down. However, in comparison to Gairloch….

We were checked in by a friendly lady. Our room was spacious and clean and we could sit at a table on a long, shared balcony. We didn't as the midges were out!!! Dinner in the bar was good as was breakfast which was served in the restaurant. We shall return.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was large, clean, and well maintained. We had a sea view, and access to the (shared) balcony. Breakfasts were served in the restaurant, and seemed pretty covid safe. Oddly the evening meals were served in the bar. That was OK, apart from the other patrons. If you are there early on a Friday evening the local fisherman will be there, getting drunk and swearing loudly. But they will keep the hotel going through the winter I guess. Food was good. On the first night the starter was huge and I couldn't really tackle the main course. Ordered smaller items the next night. Only real problem was the other guests, who ran around during the night, trying doors and making a great deal of noise.

Very good value and comfortable stop over with a spacious room with views. We ate a good meal in the busy and popular bar and the substantial breakfast in the morning was very good. Staff were very welcoming. The hotel provided safe storage in a room for our bikes.
