We had a fantastic experience at the Bonnie Badger. Upon arrival, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was modern and comfortable with lovely thoughtful details. The food was absolutely fantastic- we had lunch, dinner and breakfast and every single plate was scraped clean. Worth every penny. We cannot wait to return.

Loved our stay at The Bonnie Badger! My husband surprised me with a night here for my birthday, and it surpassed both of our expectations. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there is a lovely cosy atmosphere throughout (plus the lovely smell from the wood fire outside). We had our dog with us and it is a truly dog friendly hotel, down the restaurants and the cute little dog bed waiting in our room. The food is outstanding, with particular reference to the cullen skink, ox tongue ravioli and the breakfasts. The staff are wonderful - professional and down to earth. We will definitely be back, hopefully is summer to make use of the lovely garden!

We stayed here with family in-between Christmas and New Year and had such a wonderful time. The rooms were super comfortable and warm. What really made the stay enjoyable for us was how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Always smiling and ready to help with anything. We had dogs and children with us and they went out of their way to make it a great stay. The food was absolutely delicious too. Breakfast was huge. We will definitely be back, thank you so much to the Bonnie Badger Team!

A friend and I enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea today. From start to finish our experience was excellent. The food was exquisite and everything was explained to us. There was plenty to eat and as we couldn’t finish it, we were given a box of the leftovers to enjoy at home later! Excellent service from staff and a very pleasant atmosphere to enjoy our experience.

Excellent from the moment we were welcomed to the time we left. After reading a couple of negative reviews, I was a little concerned but if there have been any issues with staff/service, they gave definitely been resolved. Staff are outstanding, every single one of them spoke to us whenever they saw us, remembered which room we were in and were really considerate. Food was excellent, able to eat off bar or restaurant menu. Building very tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Room had everything we could need. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous location albeit a little out of the way; but do make the detour you wont be disappointed. The Bonnie Badger is charming, contemporary and stylish with a warm welcome. I travelled up from Northumberland heading to Leith and decided to stop in as I was unable to get a table at Tom Kitchin in Edinburgh. So whilst a second choice this was not second place..... I had three courses each more tasty and well presented than the previous. Smoked Sea Trout, Grilled Salmon and a Panna Cotta. Simply delightful and I will happily detour to visit again; hopefully staying over so I can explore the extensive wine menu. Many thanks, Neil

We stayed at The Bonnie Badger last weekend and had a fabulous time! Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, all offering a very high standard of service, from reception to the bar and restaurant staff. We were lucky enough to be staying in the Ridge Suite which was amazing, so luxurious and with lots of lovely touches in the room comfort, facilities and toiletries. We dined in the restaurant both nights and the food was amazing, and we also used the Broc Bar and the Garden bar areas as we were lucky with the weather. Great selection of food and drinks available, including great cocktails! We had a fantastic stay and can't wait to go back, loved the hotel features and fabulous food but it really is the staff and their customer service that made the hotel for us!…

We stayed here a couple of nights as a gift in one of their standard rooms. Staff welcome was very friendly and our room was small but very comfortable. Toiletries and linen were first class and there was a Nespresso machine and great tea. Breakfasts were exceptional quality with local ingredients and outstanding selection. COVID protocols were very thorough.

Booked a table for my wife's birthday, in the garden as the BBQ food looked amazing......and it was. Ribeye steak and a house burger cooked to perfection and tasted superb. The atmosphere in the garden is lovely, music makes it a bit like an overseas holiday resort and the smell from the BBQ is awesome, reminded me of being in Cyprus, where the meat and fish are incredible. Started to rain whilst we were there, and the large umbrellas were up very quickly to virtually cover the whole garden . All in all a very enjoyable meal/experience. Can't wait to go back.
