My friends and I stayed in the big farmhouse at auchenlarie and was such an amazing time!! Massive house with plenty of rooms, all bedrooms seaview, and a hot tub out on the decking! Very clean and modern and honestly can’t wait to go back next year. If your wanting a family gathering.or getting together with friends, seriously consider the farmhouse

Arrived about 1540 and received email the night before advising not to arrive before 1600 hrs so we drove up to our located caravan Y019 but no hot tub there so back to reception to find out where we should go and was advised that an email was sent out at 1500 hours on our day of arrival which I found to be very strange as most people would not see the email as would be on route so now we had to find G10 which we had to stop and ask someone for directions as we were just going round in circles. eventually arrived and off loaded the car with all our luggage and towels oh towels that reminds me I received email to say to bring own towels and find there were plenty of towels left on the table. we decided to go get something to eat from the take away on site, my wife was given the wrong order then got the correct order to find on returning to the caravan that the three portions of chips and cheese were not there but only three portion of chips ok forgot to put the cheese on fair enough. I can say that I had chips and cheese with doner meat and must be the most disgusting meal I have ever had in Scotland the meat was awful not the kebab meat that I get from my local take away at home and the chips were hard in the middle so not cooked properly so will not be eating anything from there ever again. Sleeping at night was impossible with very strong winds buffering the van but I suppose the weather you cannot complain about as an act of GOD but why pitch brand new caravans a stones throw from the main road with not trees or something to cut out the noise of HGVs every few minutes. No heating for the children at night as they were freezing cold so had to put the electric fire on for some heat. To cut a long story short I will never ever visit this site again and I have personally cut my long weekend short and now back at home after one night. My friends are still there with their two girls and my son is going to pick up my wife today. Anyone that reads this and wishes to book here but do not book any caravan in the green zone as open to all the elements so cheaper booking a caravan in the site with a more secluded area away from the main road.

We had the best visit! Wonderful staff throughout and couldn't help us enough. We have children with additional needs and the restaurant went out of their way for us. Crystal clear water on the beach although shells and rocks We still had the best time and the slide from the restaurant to the park was huge and we all loved it. Wonderfull Parks too. And the view is immense. We will be back in the summer and can't recommend enough.

A very poor experience. Power cut on the first night. Nobody available to contact even though we followed the instructions. The pitch next door had power but not us. Eventually told it was a Scottish power issue. That was not true. Traffic !!!! From 0730 site traffic was horrendous. A Manatu front loader constantly driving aimlessly around. Usually accompanied by a couple of loud lads on a kawasaki Mule. Usually followed by numerous transit type vehicles branded with the site operating logos. Plus, an elderly tractor transporting clanging 47kg gas bottles! Why would a park think that was a good idea ? 0750 on Easter Sunday we were awoken by the usual goons riding around on said noisy and unnecessary vehicles. To top it off, a diesel 'security' van cruised round the site all night every night. Try walking! So much potential at this site but let down by little consideration of the paying guests. GET ELECTRIC VEHICLES!

The site is clean ,friendly and quiet. You need to pay to go into one bar ,why ? the other bar is free entry but the prices jump around depending on who serves you. I bought an IPA and a large glass of white wine - £10.40. I was never asked what type of wine. Several times I repeated the order and was charges the same price Later in the evening my wife went to the bar and was served by a different barman she asked for a pinot and IPA and was charged £8.40 I then for a round and asked for the pinot with the IPA and was told (by the first barman) that they had run out of pinot.I was then charged £10.40 again The next day , i was charged £11.35 for the a wine and an IPA ,twice my wife then went up and for the next six rounds was charged £8.40 I challenged the barman ,but i am not keen on doing this as these guys are likely to bar you for having an opinion I was told that i had been given a more expensive wine (2.95 per glass ?????) I also pointed out that i had asked at one point I had been told the cheaper pinot was out of stock and was told it came back in . Why did you not inform me that instead of charging me for an expensive wine ? we paid for all these on a card and can proof this. The site is great but in future ,if we return ,we are likely to bring our own drink The only place that the free wifi is available is in this bar ,maybe the other bar but if you have to pay to enter it then is that still free ? The faciltys are all clean and the showers warm. This is where the three stars came from had it been based on just the bar and Robbing Roll kebab shop it would have been 0ne star
