I booked a room at this motel, but was behind schedule on my trip by a day due to car repairs. I attempted to cancel/change the reservation online but missed the window by 10 minutes. I called the hotel directly and explained the situation to the man who answered the phone who said he would check with his manager and get back to me. I never heard anything back, so called again the next say and spoke to the same man who said the manager said they could not help me with adjusting or cancelling the reservation. I asked to speak directly with the manager but was told he was gone for the day (at 1pm on a weekday). I then called customer service for the online booking site I made the reservation through and explained the situation to them. Their rep. tried to call the hotel but no one answered. I can't speak to the quality of the rooms because I never actually stayed there, but I did end up paying for a room I couldn't use because they wouldn't work with me. I suspect that the man who answered the phone was actually the manager, either that or the manager will not talk to guests directly. Usually independent hotels/motels are willing to work with you on reservations, but not so at this place. I think they were happy to take my money and even happier to avoid helping me. There are plenty of other places to stay in the Williams area, I would not book here again after the poor customer service experience.

The rooms are small and smelly. Cleanliness was dubious, the TV does not work. The staff was not friendly at all. All in all it was a serious disappointment and I would most definitely not recommend this hotel.

The room was a queen sized bed and a metal chair. The desk looked to be from the 1950s. The room was ridiculously hot and we were told we could not adjust the thermostat. It also smelled like cleaning supplies, and not in a good way. The woman at the front desk was very nice and offered us another room , there are only 12 rooms, but we couldn’t take it and left. Wasted our money but could not stay here

This is an older small independent motel but perfectly clean and adequate. Lovely people who run it could not have been more helpful and friendly. It’s on the old Route 66 and near lots of restaurants, bars and shops.

Very old motel. Clean room with dated decor. Very old heating unit; temperature difficult to adjust. No night lamp and no light switch by the bed - you have to use the switch by the front door and then walk to the bed in the dark. No available power jacks near the desk. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amenities included refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. This motel takes nickeling-and-diming to a new level by charging $7.50 a night for water usage! In spite of that, water pressure in the shower was very low. Torn shower curtain. Extremely slow wifi, essentially unusable. Convenient parking. No ice machine on the property.

ATTENTION IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND HAVE A WORKING SERVICE ANIMAL Mind Typos Have trouble typing due to my disability. At approximately 1:56 PM Arizona Time on 2/13/21, I called to confirm my accommodations for my working service animal. I was told by the person who answered the phone who refused to give me his name, I can only assume out of fear, that I will have to bring proof that my dog in deed is a working service animal. I very upset , explained how that is illegal and he then explained to me that he is sorry ,, his son has autism, then told me he died two years ago, and also that it is the policy of management to have guest provide such proof. It is not a matter of what I think about how I was treated for providing fare warning for accommodation that I have every right to ask for, it is a matter of what the Law states and we are all accountable to abide by. I do not need to bring proof of my disability or even divulge any more personal information than is necessary. If you do not like having working service animals at your hotel, do not run a hotel in the United States of America where I am very proud to be protected by the hard work of all our Veterans who fought for us who , many whom have survived and are disabled themselves and certainly hope they do not go through this when they go there. According to the ADA.gov website, a hotel (or any business meant for use by the general public) can not legally request proof of your disability or the need for a service animal. 1. Is the animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? Those are the only questions a company can ask someone with a working service animal. I do not need to bring proof of my disability because I bring it wherever I go because I am the living proof regardless if it is visible or in any way experience by this company or the individiual who answeredd the phone. It is not my problem that the company fails to know modern laws protecting its disabled citizens. I should not have to walk in there making loud, abrupt , noises while wearing a helmet just for people to take the laws seriously that protects accessibility for Americans such as myself. Just because you do not like something or agree with my chosen forms of surviving and navigating this world , does not mean that I should care or even bat an eye, Especially when the law states that what your company is doing is illegal and unethical. If you are disabled , I highly recommend bringing an advocate who is not a working service animal or also disabled because they may not follow the law and make your long trip there even longer. Very sad experience. I wish I could have gone . I was looking forward to the supposed compassion from the owners and staff that I had read so many great reviews about.

The town of Williams Arizona is a gem, this hotel is on the old route 66 and was built in the classic era of motor court lodges. A highway out of town goes right to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, about an hour away. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are small but warm and cozy. The inkeeper at the front desk was helpful and friendly.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helped us by snow-blowing our car out of a huge pile of snow in the am. Much appreciated! I recommend this motel for people passing through Williams.

We stayed here for 1 night after travelling from Vegas to visit the Grand Canyon and it was clean and tidy and centrally located. Check in was quick and easy and staff friendly. Coffee maker in the room and bed was ok. The room has a fridge and microwave too. Decent stop over spot
