I was traveling with a good friend in Dominical for a few days. We stayed in Rio Lindo in late February and it was a wonderful experience. A nice property, great location, with a river view and a circular pool with waterfall. The manager, Joe from Texas was an excellent resource for local information and she was very accommodating. A+ for customer service. I would highly recommend this place for your time in Dominical.

Honest waitress. I lost my phone and did not know where. By chance we returned to eat here a week later and the waitress remembered us right away and returned the phone they had been holding. The food is good which is why I returned. Sadly, the experience a traveler had in May is still going on. They calculate the bill in dollars in their favor and don't let Visa do the exchange rate in colones on the credit card. They told me the machine could not charge in colones which I don't believe. Nevertheless, I was not going to argue this time for obvious reasons.

This is one of the few hotels in town and is OK for one night if you are passing through the area. Dominical is a small surf town with mostly shops and restaurants. If you are not a surfer it will be hard for you to find things to do in Dominical. Breakfast is not included but there are plenty of restaurant options near for meals.

Only stopped in for drinks but looks like a cool little hotel as well. Lovely cool place by the river enjoyed by locals. Excellent service. On the corner at the bottom of the main entrance to Dominical.

After we enjoyed a couple drinks and a marginal pizza, the bar tender claimed they can only process credit cards in U.S. Dollars, vs the local currency Colones. I asked what exchange rate they used, and she said 550. The current rate is over 600, making that an approx. 8% fee. I believe this is abusive of American travelers, and obviously DISHONEST to say they can't process card transactions in the local currency. In hindsight, it was very strange that the woman tending bar was initially very welcoming and friendly, but after we ordered a first round of drinks, she was bizarrely curt. We could not think of any other reason for her change in behavior other than perhaps it was because we were American. We were all friendly and happy to be there this evening, and without the card payment issue we certainly would've left at least a 10% tip despite the poor service experience. After speaking to the owner of the establishment who made it clear it was her policy on card payments, I went to the nearby atm and returned to pay in colones, sans a tip.

Wonderful spot, great outside bar and restaurant. NY style pizza as well as delicious other items on menu. Jo the owner is a former Manhattan banker who left the rat race and knows how to make her guests comfortable. Best place we stayed while touring around Costa Rica. Def will be back.

What a cool place for drinks and appetizers! Right on the water, a swim-up pool bar, pool table and darts and cold beer! Jazmin was our bartender and was super friendly and helpful with some local tips. I highly recommended a visit here either for food or just to unwind. It was the PERFECT spot to visit on our last day of vacation.

I was there with friends, we took the Avocado sweet, which was great. Two double beds, shower, balcony... The hotel is great. There's a pool, a good restaurant with awesome pizza, and the owner, Joe, is super nice and helpful. She did everything to make sure our stay is perfect, including helping out with unrelated things like my sister's dead phone. Highly recommend

We love this hotel and restaurant. It is very easy to find ....just turn off the coastal road into dominical and it is on the right and side. We will go out of our way for the pizza here. Jo the owner is a great woman and we love to visit her when we are in Costa Rica.

We had an AMAZING time here at the Rio Lindo. Great food, Best Margartias I've ever had. The best part was the hospitality that was provided by Robin! Everything here was too good! Definitely coming back on our next trip and you certainly need to make this a stop in the surfing town of Dominical!
