Stayed 4 nights 10/21-10/25/2020. We stayed at a lot of 4, 5 stars hotel/resorts before, I think Arabella bed is the most comfortable. Hotel is in great location: easy walk distance to restaurants and shops, and drive to hiking trails. The road outside hotel is in construction, but didn’t affect us get in/out hotel. It was quite at night. Free bag breakfast was a plus: very high quality food—-yogurt with fresh berries, cereal, juice, banana and oranges.... plenty food. During our stay, we left hotel before sunrise. By 5:30am, we were able to pick our breakfast front desk with nice arrangement from hotel. Super super nice. Yes, the building is a little dated, but it was very clean. Highly recommend!
This is a bad, run down motel. I asked for a checkout time 30 minutes past the normal checkout time and it was denied. The bathrooms are dirty. The heater/ac is very loud and it wakes you up every 15 minutes. There are plenty of choices in the area. The Arabella should not be on the list. We were very disappointed with our stay!
We found the Arabella online, and the attraction was the location, walkable to restaurants, shops and galleries. The bonus is that the hotel is not a large chain hotel and has an almost retro, family run feel that we loved. The rooms are very nice, a little dated but really well kept which I thought added to the charm. Most have at least some view and almost all have a small patio or balcony. There was some live local music around the fire pits one evening, and the while courtyard area was very cozy. We didn’t use the pools but the pool deck and hot tub area are very nicely done, just a little too cold for us. Great restaurants are close by, less than 5 minutes on foot. We would absolutely book the Arabella again on our next visit to Sedona.
We were having a nice visit until 7am on 11/9/20 when the woman working the front desk displayed a nasty attitude when I asked why ONE guest had the gym reserved for 2 hours! Gym use is appointment only and I told her I knew that, but our phone in our room hadn't been operational since we arrived. She told me twice that i had to make an appoinment despite me telling her when I arrived at the desk that i knew that and was shocked they would only allow one guest to use gym for two hours. While on the negatives, there is no elevator at this property and we were told that you could ask to have the fire pit turned on. We asked yesterday, went to fire pit and it was never turned on nor did anyone ever tell us why (assume it was because of the wind, but who knows). Our room was…
Enjoyed my stay. Excellent room design and furniture. Enjoyed my 5 nights stay and will stay again and recommend to friends and colleagues. Nice and easy access to trails, Circle K and excellent restaurants nearby.
